Probably looking 70000 inc vat
What do you think of the tractor? 4 cylinder. 130 horsepower.
Lovely tractor wouldn’t mind having one- mine are the larger models
Bombproof tractor once the previous owners kept the brakes right and changed, if not and ran them to metal you'll end up with a potential 10k plus bill for gearbox repairs, had the equivalent in a new holland traded her at 6000 hours and no repairs bar servicing, chatting dealer theirs 10000 hours on her now and has given little our no trouble with the next owner either
Seems the machinery bubble has finally burst in the UK, llyods sold of ex-hire new hollands yesterday with full warranty etc for sub 100k euro plus vat converted including fees
Was up on the the farming forum uk re the above prices
We won't know until 2025 how tractor sales in Ireland went last year. Dunno why tractors are treated different to cars/trucks/etc. It will be interesting to see if sales have fallen. I suspect they have. Will that reflect in lower prices?
Volkswagon have cut prices for cars over the last few weeks too, but that's more due to Tesla cutting prices and the influx of Chinese cars. Until someone like John Deere comes out with prices cut/slashed, then they'll remain high. That's just my 2 cents
Certain brands here have collapsed in 2023 sales, valtra would be a good example, theirs 10 plus new 22/23 plate valtras down in kilkenny in a dealer's yard that haven't shifted....
The prices for the new hollands above which come with full dealer warranty are circa 25-35k cheaper than what you'd be asked here of a dealer for, but with new holland doing 0% finance it would be closer to 15k accounting for financing the above tractors with a bank loan
Our local Valtra man has got very needy lately alright. He would hardly answer the phone to you a couple of years ago
Is that the yard in the city on the Hebron road (or around that area)? I passed by it last week and noticed plenty of Valtras inside the railings. It was closed so couldn't go in tyre kicking
Yeah that's the one, bought a new tub feeder their in September 2022 and id say of memory the new stock they had at the time, theirs tractors still their, that haven't sold their mystery men how they can mothball machinery and not have to shift it
Buckley?
Ya
Doesn’t the wheel be always turning. What’s that they say, “be nice to everyone on the way up as you may need their help on the way down”
Does anyone know what this warning light is on a new holland?
Fuel, Hydraulic, oil just changed new filters as well, thought it was low on Hydralic oil but just topped up now and light still on.
Maybe it's just a service light?
Found this online
I’ve rang the mobile number on that dealers done deal adds once today and once yesterday in relation to a machine they’ve advertised and got no answer or no call back both days so I’m not surprised they’re not shifting stuff!
At them prices I’d say a lot of them could end up in a certain midlands former new Holland dealer and a tidy profit will be made on them.
More than likely bought the lot haha...
Need to drain out the diseal filter, theirs a screw at the bottom of it, just screw it off and leave the ignition on to flush out the water till diseal comes through bleed hole
I’d be shocked if he didn’t!
It hasn't collapsed.
6 month tractors loose value at an enormous rate.
Makes no sense to buy a 6 month old/year-old over a new one.
i makes complete sense- those tractors are 30-40k cheaper than new ones
My point was more so explaining why they were so cheap.
Fresh tractors like that are usually hard sold and more so at auction.
Those prices are not an indication of tractor prices getting cheaper
Tractors above all came with new holland warranty and where put in the auction by Lloyd's, some had extended warranties 3-5k hours, when the biggest new holland dealer in the UK is resorting to euroauctions to get rid of basically new tractors it speaks volumes, auctioning a 11 hour 210 of for 90k euro plus the vat is crazy stuff by a dealer like the above
Nothing crazy about it. What was crazy was the prices dealers are ashing for tractors, new and used. The price of agricultural produce stuck at the same level for the last 10 years, it could't continue. What is surprising is prices haven't come down sooner.
They won't come down either, they'll probably try make finance packages suit the farmer. That's according to friends of mine in the new machinery business
Stocks of tractors and machinery are building up in manufactures and dealers yards. If the need cash prices will come down.
Where's the best place to buy trailer lights? wanted to buy once made up already and just bolt on. Leave it handy for myself.
if you want the best.. Rockford in Shannon.
