Anyone experience delays with delivery from tesla.. My delivery date for an in stock vehicle is getting pushed back each week.
They're saying it's due to an issue with registering vehicles with revenue.
So anyone picked up MY which has HW4? I see US builds have HW4 for all MY post mid 2023.
Are you sure that you didn't just overlook them they are very similar looking to the old one at first glance. There's also a blue standard range M3H on that page that you might have missed for example.
I have a monitor set up on that page so I get a notification when something changes.
Really ? I’ve been checking daily for the last 10 days or so and that’s the first time I’ve seen a highland.
Are you sure? As far as I understand, M3H is HW3 but with a few minor improvements.
Scratch that. Some googling revealed that it is in fact HW4 but there is not much diff between HW3 and HW4.
I know that. Highland will be the first M3 with HW4, hence my comment that no highlands collected yet so nobody can confirm HW4 yet.
It’s the Revenue/Tesla interface issue again. Tesla are unable to register any vehicles in Ireland at the moment, meaning everybody has had their delivery times postponed.
My MY just keeps having 1 day added on to the “Estimated delivery” window. Very frustrating, as this isn’t the first time Tesla have had to deal with price drops and ensuring registration was boxed off with Revenue beforehand.
Hopefully they are sufficiently motivated to fix this in a speedy manner - I can’t imagine they are in a good place, being unable to register any cars.
Hoping it will be next week. My delivery advisor isn't giving me any clues the best I could get is "It won't be long now".
@Gumbo HW4 refers to FSD Hardware 4 and Highland by the way.
That's been available for over a week. There were some standard range M3H available in inventory last week.
Long range M3H with white interior available in inventory right now.
No highlands have been picked up yet in Ireland.
anyone recently picked up Model Y? Does it come with HW4? I can see US build one's are now coming with HW4.
Same situation here. My original delivery date was 19th and same estimate you are getting.
It’s very possible. Many BYD Seal owners are waiting with loads of them cars with NVD.

I was expecting collection of a MY RWD today. Got a message yesterday around 1700 indicating that delivery had been cancelled and a future date would be advised (30 Jan-14 Feb). I’ve got a VIN already and apparently the MY is in Baldonnel, awaiting registration.
The issue of Stat codes and Revenue seems to have reared its ugly head again and an online advisor told me that Tesla can’t register any of their cars now due to the new reduced pricing and new Stat codes required.
Has anyone else been advised of this/had delivery delayed?
And it still has stalks! ;)
Could be clearing model Y stock for the refresh.
Not necessarily so. Many people held off ordering Model 3 until the new refreshed Highland was introduced and then demand spiked. With a refresh due for Model Y over coming months they have taken the view to offer incentives to drive (maintain) demand. They have no reason to incentivise Model 3 as most likely demand exceeds supply. The 0% on Model Y is worth thousands over life of loan and this when combined with recent price reductions make it exceptional value.
For a PCP, you'll pay €6,796 more over the term now for a Model 3 versus the, much cheaper, Model Y. Surely that's not sustainable pricing and the Model 3 should see similar price cuts or finance deals to that seen with the Model Y this month.

Does anyone know when the next vessel full of new shiny Teslas will arrive in Ireland? I still have no VIN or delivery date for my M3 (deposit paid on 25th Nov), so I guess my car is none of these that arrived in Ireland last week.
If you sell now you have the cash.
If the sh1t hits the fan, the dealer won’t take your car.
If prices crash further, dealer won’t pay you what you want. If you have the cash you’ll then buy at the lower price.
IMO, best to have the cash in your pocket and be driving a banger for a month.
Oh well, I was getting my Tesla model Y on 19th Jan and still waiting for a new delivery date.

I have an estimated delivery date at the minute of Jan-Feb. So very vague
the dealer is happy to wait until the end of Feb, what are the current lead times with Tesla? Will it be here by end of Feb?

Would suggest getting shot of your old car now and taking the cash while the going is good and making do until the Tesla arrives - you don't want a situation where the purchasing dealer turns around next month and knocks a few grand off his price "coz market conditions". Happened to me last year.
Just an update, so I placed the order with Tesla on Friday for a model Y. Finance approved today. The garage I bought my current car off are happy to buy it back for 5k more than the Tesla trade in price.
So now it’s just a waiting game. Est delivery is Feb 23. Hopefully they stick to it.
thanks for the words of encouragement, I was daunted by the whole process as it’s atypical to how I’ve ever bought cars before but it all seems to have gone smooth enough.
Sell privately - not sure why anyone trades in with Tesla, unless they dislike money and just want to burn it
