my sil rang revenue yesterday still waiting for her new SOL after paying an underpayment, apparently should have issued on Friday 19 but didn't

Rang them earlier, they said initially that they were having problems issuing Sol,s in general. Then at the end of the conversation said the entry for foreign interest wasn't validated and has been assigned to a case worker. It was my first year receiving foreign interest ( after an inheritance) so not sure if I've done something wrong.

I got refund today but I think it's incorrect. Can I appeal when I get the SOL?

That was the difference on mine this year for declaring trade republic interest, no change for me today either.

According to PAYE, there is an issue at present which is delaying the issuing of SOL's to MyAccounts. But the system is still processing the refunds so check your bank account.

Anyone have the number to get through to them I keep getting the lines are too busy to take calls. Waiting since the 1st for mine

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 102 ✭✭cnbyz

just got off the phone with them. waited 7 minutes to get through. the number is 738 36 36. They said they were having issues with 2023 returns. they looked at mine and found that there was a mistake. so they manually pushed it and asked me to check tomorrow after 4 pm.

Just keep trying the number you're using, I eventually got through. Its pot luck.

What can you claim for in "other paye" i had to kit out for a home office, would this be included?

No tax relief on kitting out a home office, this option is for a something like a medical professional who has pay indemnity insurance, it’s not for the general PAYE worker

My statement of liability for 2022 is processing. This is going on a week now..doesn't seem right to me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,089 ✭✭✭✭shmeee

Why would that not seem right? Even people who got paid in a week, the SOL was delayed and didn't come in until a few days afterwards. Give it a solid 10 working days before following up.

Waiting since the 1st of January no contact from them rang twice..

Just that my return got pulled for a random manual check. That it would be sorted in a few days that was two weeks ago now

Whoever told you a few days was away with the fairies. At off peak times may be a week or two. With half the country filing you'll be waiting. If you happened to claim any additional credits/reliefs; then I'd upload the back up just in case as it might help speed it up.

Same as what was said. Upload your receipts so it saves one less interaction and step to complete.

Nothing is a few days also, but have your ducks in a row and should be the finest.

Hope this is the right forum to post...Partner trying to claim rent tax credit for 2022. Was self employed and had an agent file his returns for 2022. To claim tax credit through ROS you must file Form 11 but when he tried to access this he's getting an error saying Form 11 can't be amended for this period... He is PAYE employee now so 2023 credit was very straightforward to claim.

Have them send a myenquiry with all the details for the 2022 rent tax credit and ask Revenue to amend the 2022 form 11 tax return.

Are there many still waiting on their SOL?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 897 ✭✭✭omicron

    Waiting since 2nd January.

Only thing different from previous years is EU deposit interest declared.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 290 ✭✭Lightscribe

Waiting since 1st. Apparently I've been selected randomly for manual review as I'm due a substantial refund.
