but this is obviously the house of their dreams! They want to be in the old family home, they want to be beside her sister, they have an "only" child so playing with his friends and cousins is very important. Nana lives down the road, they can all play out on the green. This IS the house of their dreams and they want to modernise it. They have no problem with money and fair play to them. She works as a surgical oncologist, saving peoples lives (and some not I'm sure). I don't have a problem with them doing this if they have the money . Go for it!

They have just skipped most of the second half of the build and gone straight to the finished house an undisclosed amount of time later. The body language between them and Dermot is really bad. I'd say there was a HUGE breakdown in the relationship for the second half of the build.
Edit. The body language was better at the end so maybe something else happened for them to drop the second half of the build.
I feel that because she is so used to being a high level surgeon in control of pressure situations that she is struggling to hand over power and decision making to Dermot.
