There are just so many ways that could end badly.
Because 1. It doesn't need batteries to operate; 2. If you stick it inside the cover (if it's a wallet type) it won't peel off in your pocket and 3. If you use a decent quality tape it won't leave a residue (and in any case you can replace it before it gets too tacky).
ick but the effort of all that, just on the off chance that your phone battery might die if left uncharged for a couple of days... also won't the pencil residue or ink run onto your phone? Would need to ensure the ink dried before closing it up.
Here's a tip for the phone lovers... if travelling abroad and taking a day trip somewhere but don't want to lug your huge Lonely Planet guide with you (assuming you haven't bought the online version), just take photos of the relevant maps/pages and then you have them with you on your phone, leaving the guidebook back at your hotel/hostel.
Also works with guidebooks owned by someone else or those that are lying around the hostel or in Easons (you damn cheapskate) ;)
I do similar when I need to take a note of something while I'm on the computer. If I need to take down a phone number or something. I quickly paint a 2-inch square corner of the screen using tippex and write my note on it in black marker.
Also, to stop you forgetting your friends phone numbers you can just tattoo their name and number somewhere on your body. It can be a little annoying if they ever change their number though
Small tip, better to tattoo it in reverse if putting it on your face
A lot of effort for something that could be easily fixed with masking tape.
Only if you're planning on going to the US.
If you are careful where you paint the square you can take a picture on your phone of the new painted square AND the original thing you wanted to remember elsewhere on the screen. You'll never forget it then.

Did this last week, happy. Used the hot water trick, instead of hair dryer
These disposable grinders (peppercorn, sea salt, and herbs) are great, but they're designed to be only used once. Here I show you my method of opening the grinder and refilling it
"I HATE YOU! I WISH I HAD NEVER BEEN BORN!"
*sigh*
That's one for the Darwin Awards thread.
👍👍👍
2mm allen key in the top of the 3 holes. Click the white part in and it'll pump till full and click itself off.
Pumps here use to have the clicky thing. But they were removed when motorists were allowed pump their own fuel, IIRC it was for legal or insurance reasons.
I used to try those clicks things but never successfully got one to work. Haven't tried in a decade.
That's what the fuel cap is for 😉
ill never need too, could never afford to fill the tank.
I just convince myself it's better not to be carrying all the extra weight a full tank creates 😂😂

Maybe he should turn around, and watch his kid on the return trip ?
Thumbs up! (Also - that brand of fruit juice would not sell as well in Ireland...).
