I believe, Quinlivan just built a house in Dundalk - working in Dublin. That's a journey and a half to Thurles. Thurles to Clonmel is a hideous drive too. He's a director at a corporate finance company. 10 years with Tipp, that's some service. I know he's only thirty... but he owes Tipp nothing.

I was wondering what was going on when I saw Tipp players taking off the foundation jerseys and another jersey on underneath.

I'd imagine it's down to the same reason as last year. On the jersey is the charity logo for the Foundation, but the GAA's Management Committee refuses to allow the players permission to wear a logo that is not the GAA.
I'm putting they're names out there anyway. It's not enough to just say the Management Committee.

I’d imagine he’s fourth cb option. Can cover wing too. He’s played inter county all his life so that doesn’t make sense that he’s not near it. He’s had two years out to make improvements. Getting a chance to make the panel now - up to him to take it.
Many players have played bit of intercounty, doesn't mean they are up to it. Hes had 2 years out because he wasn't good enough and from what i seen in club championship he still isn't good enough.

I’d very very surprised if he manages to get on the half back line - but we need someone there to try out shuffling the pack in case of injury. We know O’M, Ronan, and Heff can do a job at 6. But we need to give lads experience in other positions in the event of injuries in the round robin
