Shattered tired, horizontal on the sofa after a very full and very busy week at work.
Slept really badly last night - 4.5 hours max when I really need 8. π΄ π’
@thomil - also mourning the ending of Ingenuity's amazing mission, 72 flights over 18 kilometres was an astounding achievement for a tech demonstration. It stole Perseverance rover's thunder - and will go down in history as it's paved the way for future aerial exploration of other planets. π πͺπ
The weekend is here and less than a week of January left...yaay!
The arse is worn out of my plate from sliding, but please sir?
Queue?.Me?.....Gifted don't queue for any woman.........
I may be told to stand there and wait a few times π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
@gifted you better not be in that queue.ππ€£
Finished for weekend. Got a lot of work done this week π
Mixed leaf salad, garlic chicken, steamed eggs and twice cooked baby potatoes π₯³
Having the hair done and gonna look well for the weekend πππ
Form an orderly queue now πππ
Ouch, that sucks, Grandeeod. Do you have any alternative plans, such as hopping in to see a movie in the cinema?
Deskside here, just coming up to the tail end of an absolutely manic few hours here, with everything happening at once. Only two more hours to go though, so there's that.
Sad news from Mars, by the way: Ingenuity, that plucky little helicopter that arrived with the Perseverance rover a few years back, has been shut down. It feels weird, but I actually feel a little sad, that robot went far above and beyond expectations, and I'm going to miss hearing about it π
Concert cancelled yet man has lost his voice. At a lose end now. Ms G in devastation mode.
Oof that's rough
The man working nights never came in last night, so I had to stay, back in at 3 this afternoon π
Few hundred quid lighter after some tests in a hospital. Everything is clear. And it's a beautiful sunny day. And it's a Friday. Going to get a big coffee and maybe even a muffin to celebrate. π
Iβve been struck down with that dose thatβs doing the rounds so Iβm in bed, canβt keep my eyes open, hopefully all the sleep will help. Beautiful sunny morning here, keeping me cheerful
Riddled with pain today. π€π€¬
Deskside, still working from home. Feel absolutely meh..., like I'm coming down with a cold,. Either that, or my work allergy is stronger than usual...
In the pit, tired as fook but no sleep am sore all over must be the tail end of this dose doing the rounds.
I was polite at first but had to resort to running Ms G out of it. Mrs G scuttled after her by choice. I feel no guilt. Bringing Ms G to a concert in Dublin tomorrow night. Feck em. So now it's me a beer and a steak dinner and Starship Troopers
Watching Jaws and chilling with a beer . After listening to horrendous rain hitting the window . I must put the heat on again
Thats my usual plan on Fridays evening.....except I fall asleep on the couch around 9 and im told to go to bed πππ
A long long day at the tech desk. I had lots to do and I think I got it done. Once I convince the girls to go to bed I'll pick a movie. I'm making some steak, garlic spuds and veg for the din dins. My din dins! Gonna have a beer or three as I'm not up early in the morning.
Shocking π―π€£
None of the visited supermarkets had pint glasses, and I forgot to bring one :) but hey it beats using a coffee mug :)
Anyone else notice the old grand stretch in the evening this week
Yep, brighter mornings too when it's not overcast, it makes life easier.
Anyone else notice the old stretch in the evening this week ππ
Ahh Smurf, nothing says weekend like alcohol free Guinness in a plastic container ......
Oh deer cheeses is that a plastic?
It's the weekend :):)
Off to do the weekly shop, crippled up with pain, this will be fun. Thank feck for my Paddington style rolly bag π€£
Settling back into hotel life, got a stock of NA Guinness yesterday after touring numerous branches of the supermarket that was stocking it. β¬3.50 a can :(
Now off to work following this nespresso
I'm going to see The Actual Boss in Nolan Park in May. I cannot wait πΈ
St Brigid's bank holiday soon π
