These are military transport planes. It's really hard to imagine they'd be wasting precious cargo space on one of these things for a POW exchange when historically these exchanges have been done by regular wheeled passenger buses. Especially when the plane was on the way OUT of Ukraine at time of crash.

I also wouldn't put it past Russia to actually use POW's or civilians as meatshields for their military cargo planes. I mean Ukraine can't exactly allow Russia to supply missiles or suicide drones for free because Russia might be comitting war crimes. They'd never get another win if they had to sidestep every warcrime Russia was willing to perform in order to attack.
But I guess we'll see. I just wish western media wouldn't keep using Russian sources to report headlines. Or at least HEAVILY caveat such reportings. Reader beware these sources are Russian in origin and have a low factual accuracy metric.
Looking at that flight it's a different flight number to the one that crashed today, some trackers say the aircraft that crashed didn't fly in the previous 14 Days , while we can always discount what Russia claims in western media ,the absolute majority of stuff coming out of Ukraine comes from twitter accounts who are not based in Ukraine at all but will tell you everything they post is real ,
Both the Russians and Ukrainians produce a serious amount of propaganda while others on social media will post there own propaganda stories for likes and follows

Seems like not content with píssing off EU, Orbán is eroding goodwill with NATO allies too. They will change certain thing's. Russian Ka-52 heli's we're a thorn in the side of the counter attack. F16 could have removed these from the equation before Ukraine took heavy losses. They would also keep Russian jets from dropping FAB 500 bomb's in frontline positions. That changes a lot because it means less losses for Ukraine and the counter attack will be more successful.
Lets also not forget that comrade Trump actually lost the election to Hiliary Clinton. She won by about 2% but because the US presidential election is not a truly democratic process the votes of the people were over turned by the electoral college and comrade Trump became president.

Yes, that's exactly how it works, and this has given Putin a free hand to do basically as he likes. But if there was an independent EU army, their hands would not be tied in that fashion. They could go into Ukraine to remove a perceived threat of an attack by Putin.

There's about 20 theories all coming from Ukrainian propaganda channels, it started off it was missles,then it was murdered Ukrainian POWs that they some how tricked the Ukrainians into shooting it down to cover up the deaths and blame Ukraine so the west stops sending weapons, another claim it flew all over the middle east,Iran , Syria, Egypt before they got shot down, other accounts saying they can prove it was flying flying away from Ukraine and further into Russia, others are claiming it flew from Africa and was full of mercenaries,....
