Does your phone have wireless charging capability? I switched to that a few years ago as I was getting tired of always looking for cables, plus the ones I had kept breaking right below the Lightning plug. Now, I just plop my phone onto a charging pad when needed and don't need to worry about overheating cables or indeed ripping out a cable when I grab my phone.
It's finally warming up down here, and not before time as well. Honestly, I have no clue how I made it through this week...
The wet and windy weather has arrived, suits the mood tonight, I'm lying on my bed browsing my phone and pondering life...profound. 🙄☺️
@Purple Mountain sorted the font issue earlier, it was driving me mad...top right hand side of chrome, click the 3 dots, settings and then zoom..if zoom doesn't show click accessibility and the zoom...I'd hate to admit how long it took me to sort out, ffs.

Then you're good to go. Any iPhone from the iPhone 8 onwards is compatible with Qi wireless chargers (the de-facto standard for wireless charging). I got into wireless charging on my old iPhone XR. If you're interested, I actually recommend checking TK Maxx, as they'll generally have the most affordable options. Not sure about the charging speed though.
Speed isn’t an issue . It’s only for internet not calls or roaming .

Never had a cable overheat or break on any of the Android devices I've had. At least now Apple were forced to switch to a standard cable, USB C

I'm watching Angela's Ashes on RTE 2. Don't care how true it is but that **** did happen. I've had an awful week tech wise. A failed motherboard. A three year old machine. Seriously thinking of going back to an imac as an Apple was my first machine in the 90s. A lot different back then.

^have you tried the dark chocolate ones? Not as easy to find here but I love them. A pal from Scotland brings me a supply whenever he comes over but they don’t last long!

I get them in Lidl. Must keep an eye out for the dark chocolate ones. I remember having these years ago. They are really nice to be honest. I wonder is the chocolate and filling lighter than before.
I keep them in the fridge as I love the chocolate to crack when I bite in to them. You can get the milk choc versions in SuperValu too, the dark ones are very rare so let me know if you find them. Sadly I’ve only the dark choc Tunnock's caramel wafer bars left from my supplier's last visit. They’re nice, but they’re no teacake, milk or dark 😂

Echoing you here, stay as safe as possible folks. Keep everything charged up , and if you have a flask , fill it up . Candles too . I'm nothing if not practical 🙈 Better to be prepared and not need them, hopefully.
Everything is charging, or charged (except for me, my battery is depleted... ) over here, it's already pretty miserable out...
Thankfully, cooking today only means heating up the goulash I prepped last night.
Hatches are battened down here, have a couple of bottles of water too as we often get water issues after a lot of rain.
