The former boards.ie member will be remaining in jail https://www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2023/0324/1366017-graham-dwyer/
A lot of people have fetishes that started early on and they don’t always have a cause. It’s irrelevant really because unless you control them you might mess up your own life because of the consequences. That’s clearly what he did because he fucked up big time and lost everything. You can learn control tactics even if the thoughts never go away.
Do you think someone like Graham Dwyer can learn control tactics after what he's done? Do you think it would be safe to release him into society?
The courtroom scene in Carlito's way comes to mind where he thanks the appeals court and the investigator for making the tapes in an illegal fashion. In fact you could imagine GD trying to make a similar speech except he would be acknowledging his guilt.
Last I saw her she posted a video from naas about how derelict it is and all the businesses are closed , and they have an Indian restaurant
Thing is you could clearly see it was summer and the position of the sun would tell you it was 9pm ish when all day business are closed
He's nothing but a monster and the the worst monster I have seen in recent years.
I remember an actual loud cheer going round my office at the time he was convicted.
I never forgot the last text "go down to the shore and wait".
Anyone denying he is anything but a monster needs to have a look at themselves.
Deserves to die roaring.
I think you could be right here, it's likely that he built up to the point where he was prepared to act out his fantasy.
So you understand his perspective more.....what about his perspective makes you say that you don't think he's the monster he is made out to be? If he killed again would you think he deserved the monster label?
Do you see it as different than paedophiles who start abusing children? or do you also think that that's just something that gets out control?
salt of the earth, lovely family man, just partial to the oul knife every now and again
How would I know? All I can tell you is that you can learn control tactics, but not whether they work for everyone.
I find the whole monster label ridiculous no matter what someone did. I think it’s delusional to assume that humans are good at heart because we aren’t.
Which perspective do you understand or relate to more if I may ask?
Guilt has been confirmed
There is nothing to be gained by continuing to speculate over motive and other aspects of the case.
