Couch......traumatised......rats have moved into the space under the shed out at the end of the garden. Ive no idea why, there's no food in the shed or under it, the dog is out in the garden. Anyway, I caught 5 of the bastards over Xmas and today I caught the biggest rat Ive ever caiught in the trap......I hate them..
Hate to admit it but I'm thinking of getting a kitten....not fond of them either, but it might stop the rats

Had no plans for the weekend until a very unexpected invitation last night ( not whet yere thinking)...a sleepover, a meal and a few drinks in a lovely little village, I actually can't wait, lots of other plans also being arranged over the last few day, the year will fly by again, tf.

I have a lot of knowledge about rats. The fookeds moved into my house when Ms G was a baby. I could hear them running through the internal walls at night beside the living room. It took a while to get them out and cost a fortune. Ended up being a collapsed sewer pipe that let them gain access. Thankfully they were contained until repairs and extermination. Suspended ground floor was the weakness. Hate them. Under a shed and decking is pretty common though. Poison and traps all the way. Cats are useless unless wild and feral.
**** rats you need in no particular order. A terrier of any description, mad fooking cats worse than feral. Traps and keep the fooking doors of the house closed at all times or the vermin will be in quick as a flash. Horrendous bastards they are. I was drinking in an ale house one day and the biggest rat appeared at the toilet doorway he was only short of ordering a pint the brazen bollox. There was new apartments being build along the royal canal and all the nests were disturbed.

We are at a TOUGH MUDDER event, OH is gonna run a 10km obstacle course, we are the support team. Strangely enough, no comments when BLUE walked in. So far he has had his photo taken a dozen times :)
