I don't know, it was in an article that I read, and there's a lot more other stuff that they have stored , obsolete,
but still operational. I'm sure that some of the other posters will have a bit more knowledge about it than me,
its started already, jake sullivan has advised ukraine to go on defense and to forget about offence, this happened this week
I'd say that as word spread more people arrived and started to fight back. Throwing snowballs is one thing. rocks are something else. Thers a scene in the video where the side window of one of the vans was shattered as they made their escape, and plenty of shooting going on. Had any of these policemen fallen or got surrounded, I would not be surprised if they killed him, such is the pent-up fury that exists there. Then the media blackout...that village / town is in the Urals, and they have large oil producing installations there...someone is getting worried I'd say, You will see a big increase in military units there now after that.
Why can’t they just send them to Ukraine?
it seems the way it was set up it was set to fail, i read this elsewhere
they will be better prepared the next time the police arrive
Crackdown on corruption in Ukraine
A fraction of that wealth he's acquired he could be on his own island off Dubai, Surrounding by Hookers and coke until his death enjoying retirement and laughing at the world
Yeah, but as a Mafia Don, he's remarkably successful. You would think that he (and his cronies) would be happy with what they have, but apparently not.
Several thousand about to be scrapped, some going to Morocco some are getting converted to an APCs minus the turrets,
Wonder could we ask nicely for a few for the defence forces
They are trying not to expose their backs....means that they have to be constantly shifting. Or as its better known "The Kremlin Shuffle"
I read that sometime back a crate was opened in a Russian airport warehouse. It was packed with wads of 50 euro notes (genuine) it appeared to have no owners or claim to it a mystery. Mafia or some deceased dictator's nestegg I can guess where it ended up.
These Bradley's are something else, aren't they? Rumor has it that there are 100's of them in storage in the US lying idle,if true, its a big shame .
It's estimated his personal wealth is north of 200 billion, he doesn't own any successful companies, didn't invent a product that changed the world, made less than the average industrial wage before he was appointed leader,
That might take a little explaining
As I understand it, when Putin came to power, he called a meeting with all the oligarchs, the same ones who had laughed at Boris Yeltsin, and informed them that it was business as usual, but with 50% (not sure of %, but it was big) paid directly to him. Prior to this, he had made an example of the biggest Oligarch of them all, Khodorkovsky, putting him in jail for 1o years in a very public trial. With the clear warning that he could and would do the same with anyone else who did not fall in line. And so, it has continued to this day. His personal wealth has to be in the multi billions bracket.
And another ship goes to davey jones locker.
Not the point of the post but god, that format of Current Affairs debate where everyone walks around is so weird to me. Always makes me think, huh? Why are they wandering about or standing in a circle like it's some kind of art installation?
The unhappy face of Skabeena..
Yeah, nothing's happening, just no heating or electricity in motherland, blackouts in Crimea right now, remember this Russian ad from 1 year ago? Winter is coming... Cheap gas, electricity and water...
Trump should be in prison before November for calling for insurrection that lead to a number of fatalities when he lost the last election but at least he has a good chance to be barred from running for political office again. If him getting elected is what pro putin posters are hanging on to as a prospect of hope that the Ukrainians will stop demolishing their military occupying their country then I hope they are disappointed. The EU is building up its arms industry and so is Ukraine so the ability of Ukraine to make moskovytes unwelcome in their country is unlikely to evaporate even if the USA electorate has another brain fart and elects that compulsive liar again.
It's the dead of winter, and raining, the countryside is ice cold mud, there's not a buttload of movement on 'the front'
Sad posts, I used to see "Ukraine reclaimed X territory" on here, now it's "hopefully Putin goes" "drugs in Russia" "France selling poor weaponry to Ukraine using EUs taxpayers money".
Hopefully Ukraine doesn't become Afghanistan 2.0. It has till November... Trump won't be entertaining this "counter offensive" carryon or attempt at counter offensive
"Enemy mech destroyed"
#ICYMI
Might explain a lot.
I hear, back in the day, Putin made a deal with the mayor of St. Petersburg to allow drugs into Russia, through said city. Putin got a cut.
It's just missing a few words to make it complete " Or Else!!! "
No doubt. It takes a lot of methamphetamine to keep a 2,000 km front line happy.
Someehere along the line, the backsheesh was not being paid....I'd say that has been corrected by now, and its business as usual.
Hopefully.😊
