NATO forces in the Baltic states so Putin isn't invading or nuking any of them or the Finn's, Dane's or Sweden
But this scenario includes Russian attacking the likes of Germany and Poland in a preemptive strike and then invading the likes of Lithuania and threatening Germany, Poland and NATO not to defend or retaliate because of..... (Checks notes...) Nukes.... Oh dear God, we're back to the nuke threat again.
Snowball fight has Sauron rattled.

Hopefully, but it isn't the first time we've seen news of protests in some bit of Russia, only for it to die out. Was it Dagestan before that I seem to remember discontent over conscription coming up?
Russia would be bombed into the stone age and its well they know that. it would only take hours to accomplish for nato once nato started bombing
Yes, points to all the cracks in the west, but without any analysis of the situation in Russia. And that's a very shaky assumption to make and base an opinion on.
Yes. Dagestan was one place where they had to bring a large force of police / military in to collect conscripts. I think that Dagestan figured prominently during the Chechen war too. Not much love was lost between the Kremlin and Dagestan.
Meanwhile, Ukraine are testing a jet powered drone....

The Dagestansinis are a viscous people they wrestle bears for fun ,and have a thing for beheading Russian conscripts
If they have snowballs!
I highly doubt the Russians want to go there again, I remember Vividly the last time the Russians picked a fight with them
Fat chance of Poland not retaliiating!
I see German ministers voted against supplying the Taurus missiles to Ukraine, not great but hopefully it is just some politics in play, their aid packages continue. As an aside, I am in Eastern Germany this week and the sentiment against Russia I have come across is very strong.
Also I was surprised to see that the factory I was in today still operate Soviet machinery, thankfully the standard of workmanship in evidnece in Ukraine did not outlive Communism.
Seems that the Dagestan protests didn't end too well for the police....I wouldn't like to be them whenever they have to go back.

Can you hit "enter" after you paste the twitter link, so that the tweet would appear on your post instead of just a link. Thanks.
I'd rather be sent to Ukraine than that basketcase of a state
You have to go to the original post on twitter, copy link from address bar and use the "<>" button on the Leave a Comment box to post the link. (Paste the link into the popup box)
Poland at one point were going to go in solo, if Belarus got involved :-D
Will do Mike, thanks.
Try living in it for awhile.....assuming you feel like doing something really crazy!!!
Oh yeah you've been ,and lived to tell the tale, I've seen women and their husbands who look awfully alike including matching monobrows, I worked with a chap from there fierce hard-worker and family orientated man ,he introduced to the infamous video I mentioned on here previously with yourself and alot worse which you wouldn't think was possible
The German parliament rejected sending Taurus missiles to Ukraine after a vote was called for ,
666 votes Randomly weird number
178 for sending them
485 against sending them
3 abstentions
An interesting story coming out of France the Ukrainians bought and paid for 6 new Cesar Artillery trucks ,the same one some Ukrainians were giving out about its lack of protection, but the french are now saying that they are producing 72 for Ukraine but want other countries for pay for the 72 systems ,
It seems the Russians are reluctant to fly missile attacks on Ukraine after their awacs were shot down. This should mean less attacks..
