I don't think he would have too much difficulty in accepting a pardon, while ignoring the fact that it implies guilt. He would not be likely to say publicly 'I did it but I wish to be pardoned'. He might well come up with some convoluted thinking for his base on the lines of 'of course I got a pardon, it proves I didn't do anything wrong'. This would thereafter give a new meaning to the word 'pardon' but that seems to be happening with lots of words.

Yes , to get a "Pardon" there has to "guilt" to be pardoned for.
So to accept a Pardon he'd need to admit his guilt , which he won't do.
No he wouldn't. There is no requirement to admit guilt to receive a pardon. Some people will no doubt claim it means that (why get a pardon for something you didn't do?) but there is no particularly legal basis for it. He can continue saying "This was a witch hunt" til the end of his days and not once has to admit he was guilty.
You can no longer plead the 5th in matters related to the pardon as you can no longer be incriminated.

There is no plan to tackle the root causes, and I really don't think there is the will to anyway. The only plan is to try and suppress it and keep the barbarians outside of the gates. Probably worth pointing out that Iowa has approx. 3.1 million people living in it; America's overall population is approx. 330 million. This equates to barely 1% of the overall population; now, it's not a huge Electoral College vote total - but still. All this is real tail-wagging-dog territory.
