I am not sure about Lowry instead of Addison.
Very strong Toulouse side. They are 4th in the top14 but whenever I've seen them they've been excellent.
Ulster are doing a good job at making the rucks a scrap. Unfortunately Dupont is having an incredible game at turning slow ball into attacking opportunities.
No chance were winning this.
Not if you can't break the line
It’s a full on hiding now - with 20 mins still to go.
Dupont has been sensational - looks super quick.
I reckon that Dupont chap would be quite good at sevens
Looks like he's slimmed down a bit?
Dupont class, best player I've seen at Ravenhill since O'Driscoll in his prime.
Ulster nowhere near it unfortunately. Burns was as bad as he was good at the RDS, the pack were ineffective (honourable mention for Nick Timoney though). The backs did bugger all, some nice touches but no end product.
The size of that Toulouse lock!
Reality setting in again, the past few weeks were nice but just papered over cracks.
Dupont is a different animal. You've got to tip the hat to him. I've not seen his equal since Gareth Edwards.
Bad loss though. Really hammered up front. The size difference was scary.
Brutal. Thank god I was drunk, can't imagine what it was like for everyone else.
Always a sobering experience playing a team that good, but I can't help but be disappointed that they doubled our score. We must have had at least five players on the field at one point that Toulouse probably had to google before the game.
Dupont was exceptional, fantastic to watch. I just wish he had the humanity to have an off day against us and leave the heroics for more worthwhile opposition.
Mark Robson's dire commentary on TNT was a perfect match for Ulster's dire performance. I endured his juvenile, chirpy witlessness for about 15 minutes before deploying the 'mute' button.
Hume badly needs to cop himself on instead of trying to start a fight in every game.
There was one line out the camera set up behind Stewart, looking down the split and the size difference was scary!
Why was Sheridan no where to be seen once again?
Hoping Reffel's injury isn't too bad. He looked deflated.
Perhaps you'd be willing for Mark Robson to watch you at work for a day and then critique you anonymously on the Internet to hundreds/thousands of random people?
Yeah, the absence of Sheridan is ain bizarre. It makes no sense from the outside.
As it turns out after Racing losing today we still have a shot at qualifying. Not that we deserve to, but that's the nature of the competition these days.
I'd have absolutely no issue with that proposal. On reflection, it's the sort of somewhat witless proposal that Robbo himself might have thought of.
The ball had gone out for an Ulster line out hadn't it? In fairness to Hume, he was entitled to get the ball, the Toulouse wing wasn't near it and decided to get in Hume's way. Maybe it's bias but on live viewing I thought it should have been an Ulster penalty and the replay confirmed it.
I'm definitely not Mark Robson if that's what you're insinuating!
Is Harry Sheridan injured or just not making squads at the moment? Anytime I've seen him play he seems to be that powerful homegrown forward that Ulster have been hoping for since Henderson, although in fairness to McCann he has really kicked on this year, real pity he's injured at the moment.
I suspect Dan has lost his Ouija Board of Selection.
Feck knows what the story is with Sheridan
Confirmation of Kingspan sponsorship exit
Same team except McCann at 8, Matty Rea at 6, Sheridan at 19 and Marcus Rea at 20.
Lowry has leapfrogged Addison it seems also
All our fullbacks have huge flaws in their game, so my mood around them changes depending on whether we won the previous week.
Would have preferred to have Ewers at 6 but it's great to see McCann and Sheridan back anyway. Harlequins are in good form and could, quite frankly, rip us a new one but I'm tentatively looking forward to this nonetheless.
Eh can they go quick once a LO is formed
Can we go straight to the DmF blaming the ref post match interview….
