Not sure if it's nationwide but Lidl in Terenure, Dublin today had loads of 1/2 price middle isle offers.
Garden furniture, toys, drill, electric saw and other electrical stuff, also had some small diy tools but not half price though.
They also had a lot of "bundled" packs for €5.
Some examples:
2 synthetic ropes, wooden drill bit set, masonary drill bit set and a cutting knife -
A plastic window washer, H7 bulbs 2 x 2 pack, 2 synthetic ropes -
4 Coke glasses, 1 PS5 glass and the 2 synthetic ropes again (must have a lot of them as they were in nearly every pack).
What's the story with the LGFA jersey, I'd have loved one for one of my gang. What was the discount? I hadn't seen them in shops either.
Someone posted on the Facebook that Lidl sez:

the good-value small items or bundles at €5 are gone from yesterday; the summer items were still available- 20m garden hose for a fiver, small camping tent for 4 people at €30 or electric lawnmower at €50 , cordless edge trimmer for 20
On another south Dublin store had more expensive items - a €75 ceramic meister grill ( looks like Kamado ), and some large garden store cabinets and sand pit kits at €50
so far , this month at lidl plus freebies : free pastry, 20% off selected alesto nuts/dried fruits , 1 euro off
noticed the cheaper 2L bottled still water ( sold as pack of six for €2.9 ) are gone; not sure if it's due to the return scheme ( bottles had no barcode ) or maybe they want to sell the 50% more expensive bottles...
They have the single 2L bottles for 45c.
Is the plan to only have cans / bottles with the Re-Turn logo on them on shelves from the official start date?
That's not a requirement. Retailers have until the end of May to clear old stock.
However it's possible Lidl has decided that it would be 'cleaner' not to have an overlap of old and new stock on the shelves causing unnecessary confusion.
Two lots of stock at two different prices on Lidl shelves won’t be happening, it would be very messy
Or they just charge the non Re-Turn cans at the same price as the Re-Turn ones 😂
It's a separate levy. It will show as a item on its own at the bottom of the receipt.
So 500ml coke will still show at €1.35 and a line added that a 15c deposit fee applies.
The reason for this is both to show it as a deposit and also that vat is not applicable
For anyone who didn’t spot it also you get a free “treat” in the app for filling out the “About Me” section of the app settings.
