Change coming? things must be very bad when the ire is directed at the Kremlin (still not Putin, but it's a start)

Some are a bit luckier than others, they are still being flooded, but at least the water is hot.

Seems that Putin's plan to flood Finland with migrants has backfired, but never mind, there's always plan"B". The migrants refused entry into Finland are being offered (??) military contracts, immediate start, uniform supplied, and free transport.

Cowardly actions have repercussions. Russia is a bully and Europe's utter failure to support Ukraine and stand up to them is a black mark on our history. The US isn't without responsibility either but this was Europe's test and one it has failed miserably.
"Ukraine will have to rebuild it's own capacity again after the failed counter offensive, it will only have one more similar offensive in it."
From what I have read the armed forces of Ukraine only committed a small portion of the armour they got from NATO and EU countries to attacking the defensive lines of putin's occupying forces before switching tactic to more small scale attacks. It seemed to me this type of attack across prepared mine fields and in the face of artillery and attack from the air without the air support blitzkrieg type warfare requires was quite rightly abandoned until more work had been done on weakening the position of putin's forces. Do you have any evidence to back up your claim that Ukraine would want to repeat this type of attack that they don't seem to have ever been equipped for? Why would they be limited to just trying this again once when they actually held back the majority of the weapons they have for this type of attack?
A lot of what I have read seems to indicate they are preparing for a long conflict with putin's forces and preparing to become a world leader in weapons production themselves so their survival will not be dependent on the aid from EU, NATO and other countries that they deserve for taking a stand against putin's terrorist state.
Outside of the States most of the western world has let their armies degrade to such a degree that they are incapable of serious operations.
Russia are rumoured to be looking for a ceasefire, ceasefires are often a benefit to the aggressor party, as it would be here, as it would be for Hamas in Gaza.
It would just lock in what they have taken, as is. Ukraine will have to rebuild it's own capacity again after the failed counter offensive, it will only have one more similar offensive in it.
It may not get the chance though, as interest is slipping significantly and America turns it's attention elsewhere, most of Europe threw in the towel at the first round.
A steep price will be paid for that by the West and the wider world.
Under US sanctions since 2008 but regularly attend US military trade expo's no point trying to sanction them when they'll just ignore them , china has a lot of governments on their side using business loans and infrastructure projects, Chinese, Iranian, NK will governments will keep trading with Russia regardless of what anyone says
looks like suppliers of suppliers including chinese companies need to be sanctioned
Russia's State TV Shows Off Chinese Tech Inside Tanks Bound for Ukraine
The post suggested that a Russian TV program showcased a tank production line, inadvertently revealing Wuhan Gaoxin Technology as the supplier of critical circuit boards.
Was it not the case that, traditionally, crashes of Russian aircraft in Russia were not reported unless it ‘had to’ whereas all other aircraft crashes throughout the world were known/reported. So it’s very hard to know how safe flying Russian aircraft in Russia was. It’s current ability to misinform was not something it recently ‘learned’
Yes, that's true, and with many different aircraft, and I've personal experience of being in aircraft that developed problems.
None the less, if you were to run a statistical check (google) even before sanctions, Russian aircraft would come fairly high on the list. Since the sanctions though, that figure has increased. I've flown Russian aircraft many times, and they have always worked out OK, but that was back awhile. I would not have the same confidence in them now though.

Means nothing really. Happens in every country.
And here's the actual link I meant to post:

Hmmm sky news paints a bad picture of the West and it’s military supplies and capabilities.
Comparing it to Iran, Russia and China it looks like we are goosed for now.
They are stepping up and us in the West are playing catch up.
Worrying.
Here's another link, it refers to a different aircraft IL76, and location, than the intended one in my other post, which happened when a Russian aircraft landed in Makhachkala was unable to take off due to shortage of parts needed to fix a problem which had developed.

Don't mention Boeing stock's 🤣🤣🤣
Yes indeed.. I'll see if I can the correct one.
It was like earlier in the war we saw embargos put on companies operating but those who supply essential products such as food, medicine, baby foods were exempt from being stopped doing business in Russia
Totally agree with you JM , its not something I'd ever choose to eat here ,I can only imagine how bad the Russia Version is,
But I think overall all franchise operations like fast food outlets all over the world are owed by actual individuals which means they can keep operating if they have local sourced supplies, just look at all of the business getting falsely accused of supporting Israel based off social media posts
Seems that Moscow apartment blocks are not the only ones suffering from lack of heating (amongst other things)

A site below showing the status of trade with Russia..
Organised boycotts are in order, name & shame
It's one thing bringing your expertise and business acumen to Putin's Russia, but if is successful, it's another thing to leave, as the world is finding out. When they just grabbed every aircraft that happened to be on the territory back in Feb 22, (which was one of Putin's major blunders) that shows exactly what and who you are dealing with. You can be damn sure that by now the only resemblance the real Subway bears to the Russian version is the name and for sure, the food (if you can call it that) also bears little or no resemblance to the original. And for sure, any profits will be remaining in Putin's pockets.
Profit before conscience.
Unfortunately Irish companies seem to be, indirectly..
There's lots of western companies still operating in Russia unfortunately ,
It's likely that they are franchise operations owned by Russians.
