Patrick's Street?
If so, that's the longest running restraunt in the city.
It is, they put it on Facebook a hour ago.

You weren’t clear on which one it was, that’s where the extra comments came from.
Phrased that wrong 😀
Sad to see a long running business sucumb to the costs but honestly it's no loss to the restaurant scene in cork. Absolutely awful the last time I ate there
Their Marina Market outlet will still be open so clearly they made a choice between the two. I'd imagine the stall is far less effort and costs to run.
Patrick Street.
To be honest, the one in Blarney isn't great. They have had the same filthy carpet for years. No money invested really.
From a customer's perspective, I thought that they were awful! Such bad food, so overpriced, I won't drop a tear for the company! Still, sad to see a recognised restaurant go in the city, I suppose (I hope the staff were treated well, and that they might find new work soon).
Out with the old, bring in the new!
Wasn't there a Tung Sing food truck set up in the carpark of Hanley's in the last few months? I wonder are they keeping that going?
Marina market I think!
Saw a friend on Facebook saying they were still selling vouchers at Christmas why if they knew they were going.
Maybe that's why people were queuing before they opened today, sneaky thing to do if they knew they were closing.
I assume they'll take the vouchers in their other outlets!
What a lovely gesture, after decades of support from Cork customers. 😡
Surely they can be used in Blarney or the Marina? Are they still in Ballincollig?
They had a food truck in Hanley's garden centre carpark with the last 6 months. Was there up to a few weeks ago anyway.
Absolute scummy
Went to Coqbull. 15.50 for a burger with no side that was nice but I ate in about 5 bites. Another 5.50 for a not very nice portion of chips.
Service was very good and friendly but won't be going back
Sano got a very poor review in the examiner weekend supplement on Saturday.
Ballincollig branch closed recently. Blarney still going?
I don't see them doing well in Marina tbh... The food was always sub par, maybe people liked the Patrick Street place as it was comfortable and familiar.
They're still in Blarney.
their prices are shocking and have been even before the latest covid/Ukraine/energy crisis/Brexit plethora of excuses.
Is this the article?
It’s behind a paywall (that I’ll never pay for).
That's a scathing review of Sano, alright.
I thought the bases were pretty good, there.
I managed to read it by loading the page, and screenshotting in sections before the paywall notification popup appears.
Sano sounded absolutely crap.
I thought the pizzas in Sano were good, and it's very reasonable by current standards. I didn't like the chain-restaurant vibe and the service that goes with that. Maybe it's still new enough to be having a few teething problems?

Just paste the link of the the article into the site and away you go.
That is a pretty scathing review, wouldn't reflect my experiences there.
Pizza is pretty subjective though, people like a certain style and base.
Frankies is excellent though, its like nothing else I've tried.
