Terrible wooden acting. How that pound shop soap managed to survive so long is beyond me.
Even the axed Glenroe had memorable scenes and was at least mildly entertaining back in the day.
RTÉ have axed Fair City..... Sunday Night's edition.... but moving in the right direction :)
Totally disagree, it is one of the best things RTE have on, gets families watching and cheering on.
I cant believe they are still making Ros Na Run. How the hell can they sustain new storylines where only 5 people live and the most exciting thing to happen is a new haircut. And even Tadgh is still in it, talk about flogging a dead horse. Pull the plug already.
In fairness I don't think by that critic you've ever watch Ros Na Run, I haven't in a number of years but there was more going on than a hair cut.
The point is, theres only so many credible storylines you can write in such a small venue without straying into repeating yourself over and over.
It's entirely scripted though and edited which contradicts your ordinary people line
Glenroe had SEX SCANDALS!!!1!!1! and mostly not involving sheep either
Every variation of "the voice" "someones got talent" "dancing with someone"
all that fake reality bull$hit.
And even worse, the completely scripted 'Masked Wanchor' fake reality bull$hit.
Gogglebox isn't scripted.
It couldn't be any more scripted
It isn't.
It is edited obviously.
Is Tadgh the wife beater?
Probably entertainment for the 5 people who watch it.
Or the 10 who watch Fair City who dont realize they are watching the same episode over and over again.
Has anybody who did The Voice become successful?
Becky Hill
Who?
I'll forgive your ignorance...
Nope don't know her.
Never heard of her.
Great British Bake-off
Strictly come dancing
No idea but it reminded me of Yakety Sax so it's not all bad.
Never really got into that Fair City show myself.
Becky hill has featured on many dance tracks since the voice even with david guetta etc doing very well.
Sounds like it was auto-tuned.
BBC Question time
Just running on autopilot these days, with Fiona Bruce keeping it alive on life supprt.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Captain Bruce speaking..."
The news.
What's the point, it's all social media now.
