Either in late December or early January I normally fill out a form 12(I think with the revenue) online to see have I under or overpaid for the past year.

Is this available yet or do I have to wait until the 1st of January.

Other years from what I remember it was fairly simply.(I think I could be overthinking it.

99% right before 9am and then around 16:00 but thats my case. For good few years...not only sol but receipt submit etc.

Nothing for me today ,I completed mine on the 1st about 10 AM.

When I click on view SOL ,I get the usual message being processed.

But below that I have 'income tax return ' I can click view or amend ,when I click view I get a declaration page with my tax relief and salary , but there a box to confirm which is greyed out anyone else have this?

I submitted mine on the 6th of last year, and the money arrived on the 11th which was four days before I got the online notification.

I did mine today and it said at bottom up to 10 working days to process, i received confirmation email. No hurry only owed a couple hundred from med receipts.

Regarding medical expenses,is there a cut off point when they start looking for receipts? Or is it totally random as someone as already stated here. I've been putting in 1500 for years and getting 300 back,no questions asked. I was a bit more daring this year

No I have some receipts,just never been asked for them.. I always forget to keep them together anyway. Sorry if i have upset both of you

It's not actually a requirement to upload them, it's just advised for convenience.

You can upload them and then don't have to produce them in case of an audit as the revenue will already have them.

When i try claim the rent relief it only gives me the figure of 500 to claim why has it not gone to the 750 for me does anyone know?

It’s 500 for 2023, the 750 is for 2024 so you’ll be able to claim that next January
