By about 2% on average according to planning tool. But depending on the weather it could be better than that.
Ok, my November figure is twice December so will be interesting to see what it ends up at.
10.3kwh cork today. 7.4kwh array
The next week is looking promising. Let's hope the forecast lives up to its prediction 😀
Best day since December 13th
Yeah. Exact same for me. 12.6 today.
2.8kwh today in Cork.
6.4kWh . Galway, 6kW array SE/SW
13.3kwh cork
5.3kWh, from 8kW E/W Galway.
Best day this year.
6.8kWh from 3.8kW.
7.25kWh today. Best day since early December
17.3Kwh yesterday, looking forward to a full year of production !
And today beats yesterday!
5.8kW today, represents a joint best day for me since system went live on 5th Dec!! It’ll be a milestone just to see double figures produced, but good to see the battery and system managed the house demand until 5pm.
8kW E/W split, Co. Galway.
20.9Kwh today 8.3kw array south facing
planned power outage today so missed the best day since my install
With the way that the sun angles are changing, I'd reckon there's a good chance you might see double figures possibly at the end of Jan, or very early in Feb. I also have an E/W split (6.5Kwp) and I took my 2022 figures and extrapolated out to what I would get if I had a 8Kwp system (what you have). Added a 10pt moving average which is the line in yellow and here's what you can expect.
Naturally it's a bit rough/ready. Some factors like shading, inverter efficiency, temperatures of panels, do you have 5kw or 6kw inverter (for the 8Kwp of panels), but it should be a reasonable approximation of what you can expect your daily average to be month on month for the year.
That’s brilliant, thanks a million for taking the time to produce that. I’m still learning the system.
it’s a 5.5kW Solis Hybrid inverter, shading isn’t an issue, but definitely the evening sun is too low for half the panels to have any effect.
6.2 today and 7.8 yesterday are my best two days in a row since install in mid November. Comparing that to not even 3kw in the first three days of the month combined.
4.3Kw system, south facing.
Susie- Wow, you're getting some serious numbers, that's class.
7.02 kWh today, a little down on yesterday but early January so I have to be happy
I would be, 2.7kwh in Cork even though the sun was shining all day. Shadings a biatch.
18.8 kWh from a 8.8 south facing - Kildare area 🙂
7.2kWh . Galway, 6kW array SE/SW
6.84kW panels, facing south.
Done just 5.9kWh the first three days of the month, 8 & 9.5 the last two days.
Edit: 13.9kWh today, almost a perfect curve.
The weather makes such a difference.
As the sun sets and my wattage is almost back to zero I’m just about 18kwh for the day.
7.4 system SE SW split in cork.
Yeah I've shading too, but sure each day it will be less of an issue. My panels are at a low angle as well so double fail.
True, I'm the same, very low angle on mine too, but I diyed so can't complain. Will be another two or three weeks before I get anything decent.
I'm considering another 8kW at some point, ground mounted, no shading and a better winter angle.
That would leave me with very little import even in winter. 10kw batteries charged each night
Nice, funny you should say that as I've another 6.3kwp booked to be installed on my roof at the end of the month. 40 degree angle too, so should really help. Would you diy the ground mount?
