At the time this happened people were blue in the face from shouting about Dershowitz and this dodgy deal, but it happened anyways because the public's opinion doesn't really matter here.
It’s all a very light breeze in a teacup at this stage- what information did people think would be released? We’ve heard all the stories that people have told to date - while there’s a huge amount of conspiracy, the main abuse throughout all of this appears to be coming from Epstein.
Ive absolutely no faith in what Guiffre says considering she wrongly accused two other people and at this stage, as much as I think Prince Andrew is a maroon, I’m inclined to believe it less likely now that he had sex with her.

From what I'm reading Trump barely shows up and doesn't get accused of anything in particular. Clinton does get mentioned and there's definitely an implication. Andrew and Dershowitz are the most blatantly clear.

Yeah, you might want to read a bit more carefully before jumping in with both feet. The only evidence we have of that such a claim was advanced is from Epstein himself, in a 2015 email to Maxwell. Epstein wasn't a girl, and I doubt that the #believerher maxim is intended to apply to male perpetrators.

That tweet is from a Fox News host who's trying to push his own agenda against the 'elites', and he knows full well that most people won't bother their holes to actually read anything for themselves. Going by this thread, he's right.
As for the 'nervous laughter', Ricky Gervais was making jokes about paedophiles and a guy who had killed himself. Maybe they just didn't think it was funny.
Epstein was a massive snob, a celebrity fanboy and an inveterate namedropper. While he certainly used his wealth to court celebrities, he was also well-known in his own circle for claiming or implying an association with celebrities that, in fact, he had never met, or for claiming or hinting at knowledge about celebrities which, in fact, he did not have.
In short, Epstein himself is a massively unreliable witness about who he knew, and what he knew about them. By all means treat with the utmost respect what Epstein's victims say that they themselves experienced or witnessed. But anything that Epstein said, or anything that his victims or associates report him as having said, needs to be taken with a very large grain of salt.
Does that include Epstein defending Stephen Hawking when he stated that he (Hawking) never participated in an orgy?
Also I wouldn’t be too quick on believing EVERYTHING certain victims have said - there’s a few people accused of having sex with Guiffre for example where she has backtracked later
