almost 27k kms lad, rears are cooked.
I'd get the same as whats on it. Usually these are Michelin PS4, if it's the same as the S and 3?
I'm curious what mileage you've up now seeing as we picked up on the same date ?
Need 2 rear tyres first thing tomorrow morning, what should I be looking at? (Model y rwd)
very few of the pre price drop Teslas are coming for sale - people are (rightly imho) deciding to just hold on to them. It’s a pretty massive hit to take, so why crystallise it if you don’t really have to.
4,000 M3’s have been registered new in Ireland since Oct 2019 and only 43 are for sale today, ALL of them overpriced, which tells you all you need to know.
my sister has one of those rare 212 M3LRs which were pre price drop and post grants, so it was €67k and she has 75,000 on it already - she’d be murdered on trade-in today, but loves it and hasn’t even thought about selling.
For sure! prices have dropped about 20K over last 18 months, with obvious impact on second hand market
Although they are rare enough, there are 2 that I see weekly. One of the lads in work with me has a 2022 LR and another parent in my daughter's GAA club has one. Both the same colour as ours. I try to park far away and out of sight from them.
its repeating other posts also but sellers cannot base pricing off what they paid, its what are they retailing for now. And on from that what are potential 2nd hand buyers needing to save to risk a non new car. In my head that has to 5-10k per year of age. Also there’s a lot of talk this week about project juniper launch later this year. Wont help situation with potential further discounts.
For the few 2022 LR that are around, if you’re right about €40K it’s a hit of €33K in 2 years. Ouch
A 2 year old car worth 5k less than what people can pick up sale new inventory long range. I don’t think so, will take a bigger haircut than that. 40k perhaps?
but as previous posters say not many around.
Discounts are still on the inventory cars online. I've stuck €250 down on a black LR, let's see if they'll actually honour it against a 241 plate.
Theoretically yes but I don’t think you’ll easily find a 2022 one for sale here. Most 2023 LR versions on the market are asking €50K but with so few for sale, it’s hard to say what they’re really worth.
so a March 2022 Tesla Y probably bought for 73k or so
and ballpark would get maybe 45k for it today?
An early 2022 MY LR would be like a hens tooth here. Didn’t sell in any numbers as they weren’t worth €70K+. Once Model Y prices were cut and the SR RWD version became available, they started to sell.
what this mean to what josip said?
Base model with the smaller battery and without awd was not available at that time in Ireland.
thanks, so somebody that bought in 2022 would have some serious depreciation if they sold
I think MYLR in 2022 was around 73k.
Just checking something, what would the starting price of a Tesla Y bought around March 2022 have been at this time. Just ball park figure.
Model y with with white seats, baby wipes don’t seem to be cutting it anymore to keep them clean. Getting off white now, any ideas?
Tesla Model Y - Buy Now or Wait for Juniper? What We Know
S3XY buttons is a 3rd party add on for the car that allows you to add functions via little bluetooth buttons. It interfaces with the car via an OBD device, the commander can add change some behaviour of the car. The latest update for s3xy buttons added the ability to automatically turn autopilot back on after a lane change.
See https://enhauto.com/blog/article/big-new-update for details
Im usually onto of latest features, but what is the 'S3XY buttons update'? Updated mine yesterday and did 100km round spin can't say I noticed much bar driving information on the bottom right now.
First decent drive today since the holiday update, and the S3XY buttons update, in a MY RWD.
The updated autopilot was fine to be honest. Steering wheel sensitivity seemed the same as always. Did notice if I was looking away from the windscreen for too long it flashed up a warning, which is fair enough. It does give a few seconds before the warning comes up.
Lane change on autopilot with S3XY buttons update is fantastic! No more having to re-engage autopilot when pulling out to overtake. Worked very smoothly, and was glad to see that the 'blue steering wheel' notification comes up on the screen (not all S3XY buttons features do due to the way it works). Auto-wipers as usual were not great, so handy that they can be turned off while on auto pilot, which was the main reason for buying the buttons in the first place.
No DM required.
I posted their details before.
Campbells Garage in Dublin 11. Beside Royal Canal Park.
Would you mind sharing the name of the garage @Gumbo ? Even via DM if you don't want to name them publicly. Cheers.
Ring around your locals and post back the names and prices they quoted.
I have locals that fit tyres I buy online and they charge €20 a corner.
for rotation it’s takes about 30 mins lift time. Most I know will charge 40-50 for rotation for the time/labour.
Id do it myself if I had a car that required it.
There're multiple ways but if they are directional tyres then I just swap back to front.
