No it was real, decoys are static props
Both use cluster munitions it's well documented
Yes I know but we were told by a lot of idiots including Clare Daly and Mary Robinson that Ukraine shouldn’t be using them as they are banned by some countries.
Another case of its ok for Russia but not Ukraine.
Pretty much yes .
I seem to remember early on in this thread when I suggested Ukraine hits back at Russia meltdowns were had over the idea instead preaching the Ukrainians should play the moral high ground
Anti lock brakes are supposed to be coming back for the Lada Niva in 2024.
They were dropped from the car in 2022 along with airbags and seemingly other essential features due to the sanctions. These additions for 2024 seem to be from the foreign car factory acquisitions parts departments.
60,000 new drivers are required if the logistics of the Russian automotive industry are to be achieved. This is seemingly a problem as the existing drivers were sent to Ukraine and there is now a shortage of labour to fill that 60k. There's also a shortage of car transport lorries. Only a third of what was there in 2021. Men and lorries gone.
I think that about 6 or 7 months ago, the issue of manpower shortages in Russia was raised in the Duma, and " the management" solution? Increase the working hours. But that will not solve the problem of shortages of skilled workers. Putins grand plan is slowly but surely going round in ever decreasing circles, and will eventually end up in its own rectum,
The niva never needed any of that modern junk
Meanwhile, back on the front lines, in the middle of the Ukrainian / Russian winter, standard Russian issue footwear.

Poor sod
They seem to be under orders to not look so damned depressed this time. Afterall, in Soviet Russia; show watches you!
Also; is this a Russian thing or do they even drink after giving a toast? All those glasses of «Champaigne» appear completely untouched for the duration. None of the crowd appear to take a sip. It’s like they’re just props. Maybe they’re so short of Champaigne (or a similar looking drink) that they dare not use it up?
If this New Year’s eve celebration went out on national TV in Russia then I am very perplexed unless I have COMPLETELY misunderstood the Russian mindset. Why? Imagine being on the Front line as a Russian soldier , the family of a missing injured or dead soldier or/and scraping out a living on a day to day basis and looking how the OTHER HALF LIVES and as If there is no Special Mission or WAR going on. If this happened in any other country it would cause OUTRAGE in most of them. but in Ru it seems to be ok. We will just have to wait and see
Kyiv got some pounding last night it seems. Significant damage to Civilian buildings. Same in Kharkiv.
I'm thinking it's the old "Bread & Circuses" trick. Let's put on a shiny celebration to show the huddled masses how awesome things really are. (and to paper over the depressing reality of it)
The more I see this, the more I'm starting to compare it to "The Capital" in The Hunger Games. An insulated bubble of excess and polish, surrounded by a land filled with suffering.
i find those kind of photos pure propaganda regardless which side does it, its trying to lead you by the nose by suggesting a photo with no context is the norm and by implication they are going to collapse any day now.
The reality that Russian soldiers rot in trenches while the elites party naked back in Moscow is too much for you?
Apparently it’s the most watched show every year on their version of RTE1 there is even clips on YouTube of Zelensky being the main star on the same garish set about dozen years ago, how times have changed.
Anyways another major Russian missile attack against civilian targets, all the hypersonic missiles stopped
its not persuasive if that what you mean or what relevance the "point" is, there are no clean wars, they are all sh1t for the combatants
Maybe the Russian invaders can oh I don’t know turn around and go home then?
A great, unbiased summary of the ukrainian offensive by the austrian military academy. Shows just what they are up against
"Sanctions aren't working".
Unbiased?
🤨
Aint that the Austrian fella who keeps predicting Russian victories and they just keep not happening?
Isn't this also the second time this video has made it onto the thread? I believe this is that same Austrian fello who keeps predicting Russian wins that end up not happening.
Yeah I watched it after someone posted it a while back.
After the failed offensive even though Russia was still losing more during this period then Ukraine I was very downbeat.
But I'm now a lot happier after seeing months of all out Russian attacks result in crazy losses and tiny gains.
The downside to last year is it suggests Ukraine might not be able to force Russia out but the upside is they might win a war of attrition over the next 3 or 4 years.
If an opening occurs in the south they should go for it but the main thing is Russia can't win. Their artillery shortage won't look pretty in another year and every year that goes by their stocks of other weapons such as helicopters, artillery, fighter jets, tanks and APV's will only look worse.
A great example of how a falling hypersonic ballistic missile such as this kinzhal could still cause great damage. Luckily it fell safely into the river.
Any ideas on what russia should do to make it less sh1t for the combatants yet?
Really good explanation of what went wrong for Ukraine and why the counter failed so badly.
Dozen “unstoppable” hypersonic missiles to kill 1 poor 91 year old babushka with debris
The Russian invasion has reached a new low in its absurdity, meanwhile babushkas in Russia have no toilets to flush with
Nope. He's a known russian tankie and his takes have been proven to be crap time and again. Jesus all it takes to fool vatniks is a gimp in a military uniform and a couple of maps.
snap
Not the first time have Russians fallen for an Austrian gimp in uniform,
remember that time they signed an alliance with a certain Austrian gimp and started WW2 by splitting Poland between them
Russians don’t remember
