Apparently this was in Brown’s restaurant? This is shocking stuff
See gangland thread for rumoured info
Few videos online, yep seems to have been Browne's steakhouse alright.
......
Shooting in Finglas as well

Seemly that’s a fire that occurred earlier before the shooting.
Scary for all those people trying to enjoy a nice Christmas eve.
Shocking stuff. And the worst news for a family to receive at any time of year, let alone Christmas...
Terrible event for all concerned. Let's keep this thread on topic and respectful. If you are going to link feom elsewhere, use & quote reliable sources only.
Happy Christmas mods.
Moderator North, South, East, and West would be much simpler and easier on the eye.

The Gardai have made a request not to post any videos of this incident. That also applies to screenshots or photos taken.

Absolutely shocking event that clearly shows that the gangland organised crime situation is out of control in Dublin 15.
Those families and children who witnessed the shooting will be scarred for life.
My OH and I have dined in Browne's many times and were usually happy but that last two times were ate there - earlier this year - we both thought it was going downhill with food quality and service - and a dodgy and very noisy scumbag clientele sitting close to us the last time.
Is Blanch that bad or is the bad element a very small minority?
A friend of mine is moving to Corduff, he's not Irish and I said it's fine if you keep to yourself.
I know people from Blanch and they said it's fine but I don't know what area they live.
I've lived in the area more than 15 years and have seen next to no trouble. There's places I wouldn't go into but some of the comments here are totally uncalled for.
Yeah that's my impression but it does obviously have a bad element, albeit it's small and possibly shrinking.
I'd imagine that restaurant will suffer to bounce back for quiet awhile. People will be wary of what the clientele is like.
That said I know loads of people living happily and peacefully in Blanch for years. Every area has its bad spots
The mother of the gun man has put up a gofundme for €7000 funeral expenses. It got to over €600 but is now closed. Unbelievable stuff..
Restaurant was on its last legs to start with. This will be the end of it.
Although I know it can't happen, it's a shame we can't triage these animals to the back of the hospital queues and let them bleed out in the waiting rooms.
Corduff, also known as Little Gaza!
Absolute war zone!
I'd say the corduff boys would **** themselves in gaza
Not for a long time. Like with a lot of areas, new people moving into the area has changed it a lot from it's traditional bad rep days
That's my impression of Blanch.
Extremely multicultural with lots of Eastern Europeans, Asians and Africans but still a small minority of criminality.
A lot of nonsense posts with sweeping generalisations about areas of Dublin 15 in here, not related to the op. Posts like that will not be tolerated.
Will it be another "hero" funeral like the one where the three lads drove the wrong way up the road and were killed, and the tools of their "trade" were displayed in the church?
In this case they won't be able to display the gun as it'll be in the evidence locker.
Whoever was responsible doesn't deserve even the slightest hero worship, especially for taking a gun into a restaurant and traumatising for life anyone who was inside and had nothing to do with any criminal squabble.
The Garda don't have the gun, it was taken from the scene by the intended victims.
Who said that?
