Ya mine was the newer engine, msport, white, cream interior. Let it go for 15k. Cheap as it was in perfect nick. Only 120k miles.
Am i correct that the new on the road price for the 2024 58kwh Id3 is 37112 euros plus another 1000 for the rear camera pack. I cant imagine that matrix lights will be a free add on but hopefully I am wrong, we will see. Does anyone know what was the previous price for this car with the reversing camera included.
From the 2022 brochure it looks like matrix lights and rear camera start at the "Business" spec with a rrp of 39k, Im not sure if prices were updated last year
I'm in the market for an ID3 as well but unsure whether to do that or get a kona. Any advice greatly appreciated.
It will be our first ev and the only vehicle in the house. There's only 3 of us. Daughter is 21 and yet to learn to drive.
I have a 2014 golf mark 7 1.2 tsi to trade in with 79K miles on the clock and probably 16 to 18K cash to put with that.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
I have an id3 1st and an id4. Unlike a lot of people who have had issue, we have had none, all updates over the air no issues. Love both cars and would buy another id3. Already bought a second id4.
I think the Kona are a better car according to owner experiences.
Answered a page or two back when the new pricing was announced - think the link to spec was there to.
Same, have a 3 and a 4 and both are lovely cars. Zero issues with either.
Also worth noting if it's the previous model Kona it's a lot smaller than the ID.3, it's a shorter car but also a shared ICE platform so you don't get the benefit of more interior space like a proper EV platform. The difference in size between a Golf and ID.3 inside is huge while remaining the same size outside. You've got much more rear legroom and a slightly longer boot.
Have an ID3, test drove a Kona.
So not a full ownership review, but the Kona is very small inside and despite many criticising the cheap interior of the ID3, I think it's streets ahead of the Kona. Acres of horrible cheap grey plastic in the Kona as far as I remember. Mind you that was years ago, maybe they've updated it since.
No they haven't.... (well I haven't seen the new version yet)
My wife has a 221D kona, it's cramped in the front and very small in the rear, plus the boot is tiny compared to my old ID3. It's fun to drive and she absolutely loves it but she's 5'1, so most people will find it a bit on the small side.
ID3 is streets ahead in terms of comfort and space.
My old ID3 is for sale with a Nissan dealer in Deansgrange,if you are looking for something that was well kept and only has 25k kms on it. It's the 1st plus edition and has all the extras on it. Have a look on Carzone if you're interested and haggle hard.
agree re the kona - test drove both, couldn't believe how small it was inside. and yes, everything you touch felt cheap. not as punchy as the 204hp id3 either. range is good mind.
that was a 2020 kona and i had a similar reaction testing a 2021 eniro recently. despite being bigger and having lots of bells and whistles it still felt cheaper than the id3.
I did quite like the e-Niro I test drove, although I prefer a rear wheel drive in an EV. I took it relatively easy in the Niro (mainly because I knew that a guy from one of the facebook groups had actually just done a deal to buy it) and it still spun like mad when I left the dealers.
Is it this car?
Lovely car but at €25k its about €3k to €5k too much for a 202 ID3. They might shift it for €21k in January... can't see someone paying €25k next month.
However I noted the HP deal is decent. €12k deposit, 0% interest rate with no balloon makes it circa €350 p/m over 36 months. At €21k that would work out at ~€290 p/m.
It’s a higher spec than many ID.3 cars and very low mileage
re the ID.3 versus Kona you can test drive both. We are very happy with the ID.3. No issues
Can you link? Looking for one. Whats the difference between 1st plus and 1st pro?
This was my one .
1st plus has the matrix headlights, an absolute must on this. Lots more extras that were standard than the pro model.
Turns out it might be a different car. The advert says 47k on the clock and priced at €25k. Yours has 25k on the clock and priced at €27k.
Lovely car hence why I'm thinking of buying a second hand ID3 in 12 months time.
It looks like that vehicle for sale since March 2023:
Hey, I was looking into picking one up in the new year. Did you find any issues with the infotainment system crashing?
No, had no real issues with it tbf, the usual 12v battery one that I think everyone had, but that was all. I had all the updates done on it and it was on 3.2 software when I had it.
That's when I sold it. It was advertised for 37k and has been reduced lately to try and move it on.
Anyone had any issues with the GPS?
The car keeps thinking its in different countries, I was in Denmark, Norway and Portugal today according to the dash.
I normally use Waze but noticed that the map was all over the place and the speed assist thing doesn't work.
Anyone had this issue? Anyway to do a hard reset? Or is it a dealer job?
Is the clock right?
”mind you, that was years ago”….. super helpful indeed 🤨
the new Kona (24) is worlds apart both externally and internally.
Changes when it moves countrys. The reason I know its in different countries is when it changes it tells me the speed signs in that country.
But is it right? Did you set it?
It's set to automatic. Should I change it to manual?
Fairly sure I was replying to @tonbinn 🙄
But sure just you get all grumpy sure.
