This was just one small annoying thing about that particular film. But I'm sure it empowered some minorities and the others have now learned their lessons. And it's a shame as it could have been a brilliant film.
bear in mind this SI-FI movie was filmed almost 2 years ago in early 2022 - when the debate around the issues with Tesla’s FSD was far more apparent than it is today (most people have singly forgotten about it it feels like). all the FSD complainants back then were Tesla drivers, so in many ways it’s just a topical scene in a cyberattack movie.
i wouldn’t overthink it :)
Deffo don’t over think it.
Didn’t the guys in Fast and the furious hack into older Mondeos in one of their movies 😂
I cancelled my Aston Martin order when James Bond wrote off his car😂
Exactly. I did enjoy watching a few high speed impacts of driverless M3s.
btw it’s a truly awful movie imho - I can’t believe it’s 2h20m long.
one of the worst examples of Netflix getting a decent script and spending all the budget on 4 known stars and absolutely zero on developing the story
Pretty sure the first Tesla Model 3 highland right hand drive cars are finally on the ocean for Ireland. Seen them loaded onboard Titus here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMpz906syxQ&t=201s and some of Wu WA's earlier videos showed all these right hand drive cars parked up ready for loading.
You can track Titus here https://whereboat.com/ currently heading for Singapore and eventually to Europe.
A good resource for info on model 3 can be found here https://tesla-info.com/guide/tesla-model-3-buyers-guide.php
Good info on latest news here https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/2023-shipping-movements.289596/page-210
With the money wasted on those M3s, they could have written a better ending than a child catching the last episode of Friends.
Can anyone tell me if, other that the slightly revised door cards and LG battery, is there any significant difference between the Qtr1 2021 Freemont LR and the Q4 21 LR MIC?
Hi Folks,
Can I ask for some general advice please. Do you always lock your car with your card or phone when you leave it or do you just let the car lock itself as you walk away, does one have an advantage over the other?
I looked at a video on how to set cruise control, flick the lever down one, so i tried it this morning and it didn't work, has anybody got any ideas?
I have walk away lock/unlock on.
I do nothing but walk up, walk away. No fumbling with keys, phones, cards etc.
Single click CC is the latest update. You may need to update the car.
Build quality would be something that comes to mind.
Tesla have apparently since implemented improved quality control measures at its Fremont factory. But from my own experience with a Fremont built 21 refresh model (SR+), I have had a lot more issues than my colleagues SR+ that was in the first batch of MIC cars. We have done similar mileages (both 100K+ kms).
I would still consider the Fremont car but only if you still had a full year left on warranty so you could get any issues resolved - particularly suspension and unusual noises suchs as creaks in doors and panels. Remember also warranty only goes to 80,000km.
I just let the car lock itself... you can set it so it beeps to let you know that it has indeed locked itself.
Have you activated AutoPilot in the Autopilot menu?
Just a quick SOH post, 221 MIC RWD, 35k kms, 1yr 9months, DC charge 264kWh, AC charge 5,594kWh, 4.8% degradation
44.30.32 installing just now.
It mentions the door pillar cameras are now available on sentry mode live viewing. That’s a welcome addition.
Also blind spot red warning when indicators are on and it detects something alongside you.
Got that today too
Might as well put degradation results here: MIC LR April '21 mfg date: 71 kWh nominal full now down from 74.5 kWh when new. 71k odo, 8757 kWh AC, 15355 kWh total.
So approx 5% degradation here after 207 reported discharge cycles at 2y 9m of age.
great info. Whats the mileage? 209 discharges sounds like relatively low mileage for a 2.5yo car.
seems to be a bunch of similar degradation reports here over the last few weeks - roughly 5% on 2-3yo cars.
would be interesting to hear from someone with high mileage
How are you guys checking SOH?
I presume using a 3rd party app like Tessi or Scan My Tesla
There's some videos on youtube of going into service mode to check it, haven't tried it yet myself
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTf1IDI6n28&ab_channel=MindofMatter
That’s the one where you have to leave it to discharge and charge back up I think?
Takes 24 hours. I don’t need to know it that much 😂
Has anyone lost Disney with the update? Hearing so many reports of it been taken but I still have it.
scanmytesla and OBD harness
New updates mostly welcome but it's messed up my radio stations, I used to have 3 favourites and could flick between those but how when flicking through stations it's all stations, anyone any ideas to fix?
Are you in the favourites tab and not the general tab?
I'm not installing any more updates.
The Holiday Update can Fcuk right off to Tibet.
Both the capacity and the mileage happen to be 71 ;-) So odo was 71069 when I took the measurement. And the 206 charges by approx 400 km would give up to 82000 km of range so bang on there. The car usually is charged 10/20%->80 unless it's a long trip ahead. But we also have two long European trips under our belt so plenty of SuC action has happened too.
I suspect after 1000 charging cycles the battery will still be in good health and expecting to reach that in 2032 with 320kkm on the clock.
Just going through it now and it seems to be sticking with favourites. I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days.
The Tesla CEO had a recent falling out with the Disney CEO about advertising revenue in another company that the Tesla CEO owns. So in response to that self-inflicted argument, he has apparently ‘hidden’ the Disney streaming logo in some recent software updates, because these are the types of things that occupy the mind of the Tesla CEO.
