I need physical exercise to sleep. Also no coffee. Also blue light filter on screens. Also decent supper with milk..e.g cereal.
I will, I must find out who's in charge of the place.
Sitting down chilling
Hope you are well outside that BS happening you.
thanks grem, not too bad otherwise
Been there, done that. I refer you to my previous post 😁😬
Less than an hour to go here. To whoever's been doing the unauthorized rain dances here in Cork, could you please stop?
I genuinely don't know how I survived today and I doubt I'll be as lucky tomorrow.
If ever I was going to kill someone it would have been today.
I'm sick of working, sick of dark mornings and sick of idiots.
The nicer side of airline catering
Homeside after one hell of a day. How I managed to get through this day without blowing a fuse is a mystery on the same level as the nature of Dark Matter! But, I'm home. Christmas lights are on, goulash was consumed, and I'm finally coming down from the ceiling...
Glad I'm not the only one, roll on the Christmas holidays!
I'd actually wanted to respond to your earlier post, leggy, but I was still on a company machine at the time and my draft was definitely NOT HR-compliant... 😶😶
Monday blues on steroids, it's the time of year for it.
Slightly related, if anyone else asks me if I'm "all set for Christmas" I'll scream.
So, all set for christmas? 😁
*Runs to bunker and waits for inevitable detonation...*
😁
Poxy festive bs
I'm that organised I've the dinner cooked and plated. 😂
All set for Christmas! Ah lads worn out with work. Worn out with people too! In the leaba here. Hoping to have it to myself. Just had a Belgian chocolate slice and bainne.
Is this just an American thing, suggested tips 20-30%
I imagine it is just there since I don't think any other country operates like that sort of tip industry/culture
some dick of a cyclist just slapped my car on their way by and made some comment (I couldn’t hear but could see them speaking)…
no don’t cycle away, come back for a second.. donkey
Hey lads I’m looking to pickup a wee pan set for Xmas day.. what I’ve got at the min are crappy ikea ones that are long fit for the bin 🤣
in the new year I’ll be picking up a professional set been saving my pennies to get one for ages.. but I need something to tide me over!!
if any of you lovely folk have a recommendation or spotted a deal let me know. I trust you entirely 😎
just need a few pots really am ok for sauté pans and frying pans etc
No electricity here today between 9-4pm... Flask filled . It's at times like this I'm grateful for having a gas hob 😊
Going for a well needed shower but I have no energy at all . So lots of coffee on the go .
I know the feeling!! Can’t say I haven’t fallen asleep for a moment or two in the shower some mornings 🤣
if it’s practical for you could look at getting a shower seat? Not even being facetious.
I'm quite partial to the likes of WMF or Fissler. The "bucket" I use to make goulash, stews, etc. is a Fissler pot, so they can definitely take a beating. I would recommend popping into a Homesense though, if you have one within range. They may not always have them in stock, but they are far more affordable than getting them new.
Oh I have one . It’s just I can’t seem to move my ass off the comfortable sofa
Waiting on jury duty, I’m thinking Guilty whatever the charge 😂
Sitting waiting on my trial to start . I hope I get off^^^^
+1 for Fissler
The goto pot for most cooking here is a Fissler.......at a guess its over 40 years old !
Ikea, they used to do 3 grades of pot & pan.......cheap, medium Q and something pretty good ( and good value )
If you're getting yourself new, decent pans in the New Year you could just pick up the cheapest crap from somewhere like Dealz to tide you over. 🤣
When I buy stuff I tend to have a list of 'features' that an item must have - in the case of the pans I bought myself a few years ago, they had to be stainless steel, have glass lids, one piece steel handles on the pan and lid, and the pan & lid handles had to be riveted on (or a stainless steel nut+bolt, but I don't think any manufacturer makes them like that. Rivet was good enough, because if it comes loose it can be replaced by a stainless steel nut+bolt purchased from a hardware store).
I know, I'm a nightmare.
dealz near me hasn’t anything like that!! More interested in selling clothes these day 🤣
i think dunnes has a set of 5 pots for like €60 I prob just grab that to keep me going. At the min i have only two.. one small and one massive as well as a casserole dish 🤣
pain in the arse
