Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
Ah early days yet with the line up. I'm a big fan of The National but have seen them a lot including at ATN. Think Future Islands are a great live band personally but each to their own sure!
Not many arena level indie rock bands these days
Thats a pile of shite from ATN.
Think we'll be seeing this for another year or two
Well that's underwhelming for me. The National great there last time but would have rathered something new next Summer. Future Islands bore the **** out of me. The others not aimed at the likes of me. Boo.
The singer being a whacky cult member and telling an occupied territory to embrace the invader is also grand.
Loads of people only buzzin to still be coming out of their cage I guess.
If you click on the ticket, there'll be a small blue radio button that displays next to it which outlines what each ticket includes.
E.g. The "Best Seat Package" included a tote bag, lithograph and bespoke gift.
It's essentially a way to hawk the best seats.
The National, Future Islands, Barry Can't Swim, Jorja Smith and Bakar announced for All Together Now https://twitter.com/ATNfestival/status/1732810174786568218?t=Tj_j1QP37t7xdEIUMh2nzA&s=19
I thought I got to sniff Brandon Flowers ☺🙈
Before general sale and all
More expensive seats with “better view”. Usually the closest seats to the front of the balcony
MCD presale have VIP tickets, what are these?
Suppose and will be a great show
Very good support, didn't listen to them in years. The 90s/early 2000s acts coming back with a bang
Wow. That's some support. Saw them in the Olympia a few years back and they were incredible live.
Well they play here a lot because they sell the tickets each time. No reason for that to change particularly when it's a "Greatest Hits" tour.
With special guests Travis
Shows that been playing here a lot means SFA
The Killers have added a 3rd 3 Arena gig. Now 12th, 14th and 15th June
Not irish or EU but Stadium rock is more alive than ever. Sometimes you'd forgot how big the USA is and the amount of 'markets'
Cause those 25,000 in Limerick and 30,000 in Belfast might not travel to Slane.
also promoters have sunk costs of stages being built for Belfast and Limerick and need to use it to spread fixed costs across multiple shows.
I wonder why they didn't push Liam Gallagher for Slane like if you do the maths on it. 26000 three arena tickets sold, 25000 in Limerick and what does Belfast hold 20-30000 ? A decent support line up could have nearly sold it out
This went from a maybe to a definitely....
Barracks is less than 5k usually as that limit before planning permission/licence needed.
What's the barracks capacity? Death cab play the bord gais when they're here so I'd say anything bigger than 4-5 would be a stretch.
Wrong time for iveagh. Collins barracks on the other hand.
and the London show that announced with a date is All points east
Death cab & postal service announced for a Portuguese festival last weekend of August, ties nicely into the APE rumors.
They'd be perfect if the iveagh gardens gigs go ahead next year.
Well there you go, Dreamweapon. You need a bit more oomph in your gigs than me. I thought she was fantastic that night, no bullshit, not polished, great lyrics, warm, some fantastic songs. Each to their own.
MK and belters only headlining punchestown on June bank holiday for a new dance music non camping weekender
Possibly going to be an expensive couple of weeks
If all true AC/DC tour announced Fri 8th and then Pearl Jam on the 11th as you mentioned
What's this now?
While I'm on a hot streak Iay aswell tell you all expect a pearl jam tour announcement on Monday.
Expected to be marley park June 22nd
