Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
Pearl Jam could announce without the album and announce US dates and album later. Leaving it late so they are. That said I suppose Pearl Jam will sell out no matter when it’s announced so it doesn’t really matter
Mcd will just use the stage they have in Musgrave
it won’t be snow patrol bringing a stage
And MCD/live nation actually own most of the stages/tents In use for summer outdoor shows and festivals.
Flip I am buzzing for Limp Bizkit. The Olympia gig was unreal.
Niamh Regan playing the Unitarian Church, Dublin on Saturday 2nd March. Tickets on sale on Wednesday at 10am. Not sure if there's more Irish gigs to be announced around then https://twitter.com/TicketmasterIre/status/1731614355265909092?t=1NYuviu0Q6ncGEl-L03-fg&s=19
Cyprus Avenue has 2 big announcements later today, one at 5, next at 6.
Read that article a few days back. Clickbait I thought. They’re quoting a 15k festival having issues with acts yet they’ve got Bicep who had 40,000 when they headlined the Glasto West Holts stage in 2022.
For context 15k is less than 2/3 of the attendees at a gig at London’s O2. It’s not that significant.
These bookings coming in swings and roundabouts. Big acts will always play festivals, some year’s lineups will just have bigger acts than others.
Looks like Mad Cool is back on for 2024
Didn't this festival make false claims about something in the past that puzzled people, certain there was something but the exact thing isn't coming to me.
Wonder why they do it especially when they've several complaints annually about the running of it just adds to them being feckless all round.
Last I saw Dua Lipsynca,The Foo Fighters & Avril Lavigne (even temp listed with another Spanish show before removal) were highly touted to be on for it,with a possibility of Pearl Jam.
David Gray doing a few shows in Whelans in February
I suspect he'll do Cyprus Avenue also. Announcement at 5 as said above.
Could be onto something there. They seem to have dates free until 9th Feb so could do a few gigs until then
Morgana from Saint Sister playing Whelans on Friday 29th March. It's on her Instagram
Liam Gallagher also doing thomand park
Its Cian Ducrot
Cian Ducrot is one
Where did you see that?
MCD posted it
Couldn't see anything on any of their socials. Wonder did they post bit too early and since delete?
I saw the Liam Gallagher announcement too, think the date was the 15th of July
limpbizkit presale sign up

Saw there's an Evening Train the Musical after being made on Instagram. Think Mick Flannery said there might be shows of it next year at one stage
Will be at 3 or 4th Thomond show added to that weekend
2nd Cyprus Avenue announcement is Jake Bugg
It's confirmed now. It looks like Kasabian as support but it's hard to see the poster in the tweet.
We have tix for his Dublin show. Any idea if a Ticketmaster transfer would work or would it be Dodgy if tickets sold out straight away? Probably best get the presale tickets and try sell the Dublin ones.
Bit crazy how he didn’t even sell out Kilmainham last time and is not doing 50,000+. Probably a fair few people who booked Dublin who would’ve preferred do Limerick/Belfast
Also him doing definitely maybe has helped push the demand up.
It's funny how its the norm to have one, two or three presales for the majority of gigs these days and the outliers are the ones with none. The term 'presale' for gigs in Ireland has become utterly redundant.
And for the bigger ones they sell them all in the presales. Though I don’t really mind that myself
