Dave likes to waste his time by playing games on his phone, I know let's make that into the first hour of the show.
Dave was better at hosting "Dermot and Dave" solo when Dermot was away for a week than he has been "The Dave Moore Show".
He can do it but the structure is killing him.
Very true but don't forget Mariah, Sean and Cathal all filled in for Dermot which kept the show ticking over. I genuinely though the 4 of them put out a better show than Dermot and Dave on their own.

Agreed. I was all for giving him space to try stuff out, ditch the stuff that wasn't working, hone the stuff that was. But it's been a couple of months now, and I don't think anything has changed from the first week or so?
Would be ten times better if they'd just let the other three co-present too, even if it was swapped around between one or two of them.
Exactly. Rotate the co-host so it’s different from dermot and Dave. Look at the Ray foley show, JP almost has equal input but doesn’t overshadow Foley. And they have people popping in during the week.

I’m in the minority here but I like Quilty. Not an instant channel changer for me which is a low bar I know.
Dara Quilty was (is?) in a band that I liked a couple songs from. So that always gave me a bit of a bias when listening to him. But I'm starting to grow a dislike of him lately, while not totally there yet. He needs to improve imo but he's not the worst at the same time.
I like Quilty.
The one note guessing game is a must listen, and he had a segment on best drum intros last week that was good too. Certainly better than the bulk of Dave Moore's chatter.

I assume they have played lots of the Pogues over the last few days, including the censored version of Fairytale.
Don't worry though as they will forget about playing the Pogues soon enough and go back to great Irish artists like The Script, Dermot Kennedy and Picture This.

I listen to to the Block Rocking Beats stream on TuneIn now and again. It’s not been working since last weekend. Was off last Saturday and Sunday completely and since Monday has been playing 98FM R&B. I emailed them last Wednesday but not joy. Just proves that no one listens to the streams. Not even the engineers in Today FM by the looks of it.

Well, you wouldn't want to have been trying to participate in Whamgeddon if you ever listen to the station - they've stuck Last Christmas into the ad for their Christmas app, and I think the ad is getting played at least once an hour. And the song, once per show.
Even Ed played the censored version of Fairytale the other night :-(

For me it’s playing 98FM R & B all week and was this morning at 6am anyway. Haven’t checked since then.
2fm is miles ahead. Diverse range of tunes and lots of Irish new tunes too. I’m sure they have a playlist to work off, but Fred Again belting out at 9am is a winner.

Clock blocker is a tougher one IMO. 10 right answers in 60 seconds with a random pause. Just for comparison how often would you see someone get 10 on a cash builder on The Chase? Very rarely.
I was on clock blocker a few weeks back. Got 7/10
It's much harder when you are on the phone than the radio!
