Yes i am wondering as well, what’s the minimum spend to get the scratch card these days? And where to find that? ;)
Lidl Plus Scratch & Win – Update to Terms & Conditions 1st December 2023
We’ve updated our T&Cs for Scratch & Win. This new change helps us to offer even better prizes and offers in the Lidl Plus app every week. To make sure we could offer you the best prizes possible, there is now a new minimum spend requirement of €10 along with scanning your Lidl Plus card at the till, to qualify for a Scratch & Win prize.
this would reduce the amount of scratch cards issued and the free products giveaway, reduce loss for the company and improve stock levels on the shelfs
"... reduce loss for the company..."!!
Bye bye easy scratch cards..it was fun till they lasted…Zero spend -> non-zero->min €10 now !!
Yeah a sad day, was wondering why I didn't get one yesterday. My wife and I used to go in and pay separately so we'd both get one :-(
Reasonable on their part in fairness
They are trying to lean into people's willingness to pay over Christmas. I still think are struggling to find their feet with this app.
I presume alcohol doesn't count towards the tenner?
Alcohol by itself almost certainly no, but try alcohol and another low price item and report back.
I just spent €11 which included lotto ticket and no scratch card either. So I’d say it’s all the usual restrictions
If anyone would like a €5 off €30 voucher let me know. It expires in the next 2 days.
The app is used in several countries. Lidl Ireland was far more generous with scratchers than its European counterparts...
I used the points for the first time. There was turkey burgers for the same number of points (2317 pts) than the orange juice (4.39€ Vs 1.79€). There is still the turkey burgers on the app but for 7817 pts. Maybe an error but if anyone is interested, take it in case they remove it.
what points?
Lidl points but I don’t think they are in all shops yet, I have 7k with 4k on the way
Thanks ! looks like ur main shop is at Lidl😁 or is it over few months
Peraonally if the scratchcards are better, I am all for the 10 euro spend requirement
I just got a 1 euro off scratch card for first time in yonks - much better than yet another free pastry I won't use
That’s since they started months ago the coins are worth feck all
Not worth imo, take your pick of 1 *flavour* item.
Doesn't look like they like us chatting in this thread, so they introduced a minimum spend and made the rewards more random.
We probably reported their false/misleading advertising and new SELs too much.
I got ten euro off a 100 spend in the app. I ended up spending way more than usual but at least got to stock up on the staples.
Used the €30 off €5….looks like its working😆 for them..bigger shop
30 off 5 sounds great
I'm glad Lidl are finally paying me to use their crap app now.
Have. €5 off €30 expiring today pm me if anyone wants it
I also have a €5 off €30 expiring tomorrow. PM me if interested.
Picked up the parkrun orange juice but there was a deluxe orange juice mixed among them that my hand went to instead 😒
Similar happened me with the bellarom coffee voucher last week!
Picked up some coffee, assuming all the jars were included, but it was a deluxe jar!
Then, to rub it in worse after no discount, the plastic lid on the top says bellarom anyway 😂
gone to Omegagene !
I have €10 off €50 which expires today if anyone wants it.
I'd say the minimum spend to get a free item will only last for December before it reverts back to normal. They know they will be getting increased footfall this month with Xmas shopping so need to be as generous.
Hopefully back to normal next month.
I'd say you're overthinking it 🤷
