Been busy trying to get stuff done for work and it's done now. Hopefully can take it easier tomorrow. Freezing cold. Sad to see Shane McGowan gone. He's written some of my favourite songs. And that's it. Nearly Friday.

I went out to get something from the car and nearly fell on my arse, it's already freezing hard, the morning will be fun. π¬

Sad to see Shane McGowan has died. My dad always said if Shane McGowan is alive, I'll be alright, they were born the same year and both had the same issues. Unfortunately he died 2 years ago, he was probably shocked he went before Shane!

I haven't ventured out since 4pm. Heating on full tilt and I'm still chilly. The thoughts of the morning. Gonna leave the leccie blanket off tonight otherwise I won't want to get out of the bed in the morning.
Despite the heating being on,my coat still on, a hot water bottle and a throw, my feet are still like 2 ice blocks.π
I hear ya! I put the timer on the heating to come on just before I get up in the morning, just so that after I jump out of the bed I'm not frozen on the spot!
I've given up and gone to bed, feet absolute ice blocks!
I love a cold bed . I seem to sleep far better , plus ,as you say ,no problem getting up in the morning .
Take off whatever ye have on your feet and put a fresh pair of fluffy socks on . Usually works oddly enough.
I've the heating on and a plug in rad heater in the bedroom, waiting to get in for a shower, then leaba, bedroom will be like a sauna...I will try the sock hack .πππ

Really down here. Just tried logging into my parents' old Google accounts to prevent them from being deleted, both are still up. Despite knowing the password, I can't get in, Google insists on sending a text message to a phone number in Germany that hasn't existed since early 2018, and I can't seem to get around that. Even my dad's ancient tablet isn't of any help...
Well, at least I got all my email messages with them, which is something, I suppose...
Absolutely Arctic outside there tonight. And not much better down the windows/patio door end of our living room as the window is so bloody draughty and needs sealing work... this is the coldest night so far this winter. π₯Ά π§ βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ
It's snowing in Scotland, England and parts of the North.
Went into art class this evening after working from the home office today, saddened to read on the news online this afternoon that Shane MacGowan passed away but I wasn't surprised. Another Irish music legend gone. π’ I have to say that he got good innings at nearly 66 considering all he put his body through over the years. The Pogues fused Irish trad with punk rock and created a superb new sound. I'm playing their stuff tonight in tribute! πΈ πΆ
