Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
I'd say 2 more weeks of announcements too go
Once in a blue moon. Was at The Cure in Malahide a few years back. A Saturday, for a band i like with decent support acts plus a minibus there and back, so it was grand.
However, a Wednesday evening, probably under my own steam, with support that i wouldn't be as enamoured with, not so appealing. LCD are great live but if none of my mates go i may not bother in the end.
Be a great show that
It’ll be rammed and feel like a homecoming celebration as it was last time. Alas my better half has the ticket for tomorrow. Have a great one.
London show confirmed. Might see an Irish date as well
Confirmed but no date yet?
It'll be the 21st anniversary by the time these roll around.....
Great show though.
August for London show
APE probably.
Aiming to be there - two astounding albums!
Yup
Assume its for The Killers at 3arena on 14/15 June
Unconfirmed reports that there are up to 9 people in the country who haven't seen them live.
The Killers playing 3 Arena on 14th and 15th June https://twitter.com/thekillers/status/1730497890735559085?t=EAdsT3oV4XTGaKUTwsPY7A&s=19
The Killers back to ensure they play here more than Nile Rodgers & chic
Yeah that's a bit of a let down 😂
The Killers..........jaysis.
Trying to manage the credit card so on the positive side, it won't clash with the Saw Doctors announcement. The Galway gigs last summer were brilliant and they never ever disappoint live.
I've never seen them. I had a ticket for their 2006 gig in the Point, but they pulled the plug that afternoon, due to illness, opting to ditch Dublin in order to be well enough for some MTV awards show a few nights later. Never rescheduled.
Liam Gallagher playing Belfast with Kasabian in August
Whats your point? Is there a rule, that you can see a band live only once in your lifetime?
Same weekend as ep surely likely for stradbally now?
At least The Killers are a top global act, playing here on a weekend.
I haven't seen them yet, maybe this time :)
Or its a joke that theyll keep playing here till everyone has seen them
I mean I like them a lot but it’ll be their 5th and 6th times here since Covid and third straight year, sort of takes away from the magic of seeing them
No but it’s just every year they return. Between 2022 and 2025 it will be malahide castle x2, EP and 3 arena X2. It’s just a lot for an international band.
Whoosh
I saw them in RDS in last few years too. They really do seem to tour a lot.
Always put on a good show. But not sure I want to see them a 4th time
Forgot Belfast as well this year.
Wasn't their last non EP gig here 2017? Doesn't seem close to being on par with Neil Rodgers!
2024 - 3 arena
2023 - EP and Belfast
2022 - Malahide
2019 - Belfast
2018 - RDS
2017 - 3 arena
well on par with Nile Rodgers
nope
