the offers need to be just enticing enough to get our data, for the most part the app is a waste of time
Racoon, my ass!
It's probably Milhouse.
It seems like... let's say you spend €20. You are lucky and win. You get €20 off your next shop in LIDL?
And, if you are unlucky a raccoon jumps out and claws your face?
What is a magic ticket?
Had the Apple Juice/Honey activated. Tried both and they scanned but the coupon did not activate. Whoy? Maybe I had two of the same coupons activated?
😂
To be fair we really should complain to customer service. If they saw it was widespread tit might change. I'll do that tonight myself.
Have many given up on the app?
I just don't seem to think the offers are attractive
On tbe days in question a pop up would appear on the app and the offer would be added to the great section
Belated question about the Black Friday Week - I checked my app a few times last week but never saw anything to be clicked. Was it on the home/opening page, or hidden under the broccoli or something?
LIDL have taken on board the criticism of the small font size used on unit prices on the new product shelf edge labels.
They have come up with a solution for customers.
Available in stores Monday 4th December
😉
i go first thing in the morning mostly..not as lukcy as you
I got apple juice yesterday and there was plenty of it, suppose it just depends when they restock and what time you come to the store! I don't think they purposely remove the products
They'll be back in early Dec.
No juice, chocolate or honey for the last 5 days in 3 stores. Yogurts are there sometimes but when not sparkling water is always in stock.
Peanut butter and jaffa cakes are plentiful again of course.
Neo biscuits have magically reappeared and apple juice/caramel choc have vanished
I used the 50% off Christmas PJ’s but that’s it.
Ceaser salad is always in stock !
50% off some toys and 50% off Xmas jumpers came in very handy for many. Nothing suited me either
What happened then, did she just dump the tv in the car park?
i got two of the kids jumpers, the woman in front was leaving with a huge tv and i had a bet with herself wether it would make it to the car and then actually fit into the car, the tv did not fit into the car lol
The Lidl Black Friday surprises on the app this week have been a complete farce. Not a single thing to entice people to visit their stores.
I can't imagine there'll be much of a run on today's surprise... Kids ski gear 25% off.
Couldn't get the oats either and outside Dublin.
I was thinking exactly the same thing based on my experience in a few Kerry Lidls the past week. Never an issue with stock of apple/orange juice before. Until now.
And the honey the previous week; one of my local stores amply restocked after having none for a few days but the other didn't. Very strange.
Maybe. What strikes me though is that we've had apple juice and orange juice as freebies many times before, and I've always seen them in stock, not even a sign of tight supply (unlike some other freebies), but always plenty plenty of stock. And this time, it's zero, not even a sign of a single bottle or empty box. And not in one store, I tried 4 or 5 in Dublin, exact same. This extremely sudden change doesn't look like something caused by increased interest from app users. We had the same suspicious symptoms with porridge oats back then, and it was specific to the Dublin stores.
Someone earlier said they tried that and it wasn't a success.
Aldi have them in mine from today and it's a lot easier to see the code and price per kg.
By now they have a pretty good idea what's the uptake on the freebies , so they can stock up if really wanted.
Of course they can say < we only count on 20k registered Park Run members> to come for a salad, but they KNOW 35k people activated the parkrun code on their app...( numbers are made up but you get the idea... )
the blueberry offer was good value - doubt it the other big shops can match it anytime soon
Apple juice, chocolate, honey, also absent in my local. I suspect is there are more app user demand then there is stock. They don't seem to increase stock levels to match the freebies
Or just take a picture of it with your phone and then enlarge the picture?
Has anyone seen the last Parkrun freebies (apple juice and kiwis) in Dublin stores?
I tried a few shops I was passing by in the last week or so, and the shelves were all empty (not even empty boxes that would indicate there was stock earlier).
That reminds me of the Parkrun porridge oats that systematically vanished from the shelves in Dublin stores.
I hope I'm just out of luck, but I suspect a piss take.
The last Black Friday surprise was €10 off air fryer. Similar pricing as Dunnes with their coupon
