If it's an anti war protest, a pretty nifty one. Just need to get sufficient dye into one of the big river systems like the Volga or Moskva etc. Damn near impossible to suppress that.
Looks like a lot more dirty Russian loot is about to be frozen from the reach of Russian criminals
The latest from Russia on how it views Ukraine. The level of delusion is absolutely staggering:
Or could be an optics exercise if the 3rd party country turned out to be somewhere like China or Kazakhstan.
Not a huge story in and of itself. But has the potential to be a slightly modified HIMARS capable of firing the long awaited GLSDB. If this is true then best of luck to Russian logistics during the winter.
The GLSDB could be a game changer alright.
Mining fail. Happened in the past. Check 'Norilsk red river' on Google. ruSSia is one of the biggest polluters on this planet.
Nice 👍
This is from 2016.
"Norilsk Nickel said the river discolouration posed no danger to people or wildlife". Yeah, right.

I guess this new red river is something similar then.
With the German economy apparently a bit iffy(?), makes sense to maintain the one industry doing well. Not being cynical or anything I should add, but there's no doubt the military industrial complex is be benefitting from this war (and a big reason why I don't completely believe a Trump presidency would stop the American tap).
Calling out antisemites and then putting "durka durka" in the same sentence really takes the power out of the former.
How often have we heard that...
All it ever amounts to is: enough to stay in the game. The true game changers are kept out of the game.
The Game has changed from
Three Days to Kiev
to
We Can’t even Capture a Slagheap *
thanks to a multitude of game changers
* … despite throwing a small European army’s worth of men and equipment at it
Yes it would be very difficult to suppress it, so Putin would highlight it as a dastardly EU / UK / US plot against the Motherland. One which Putin will protect them from. That which you do yourself, blame it on the enemy. Taken from Goebbels propaganda book.
Even forgetting that HIMARS were game changers!
The reason they were game changers was because Russias entire ability to take ground relied on overwhelming 10:1 advantages in artillery. Standard 70km HIMARS rockets put an immediate end to all that. And ever since then Russia has shown a complete lack of ability to take ground meaningfully.
If say.... this GLSDB modified HIMARS isn't purely speculation but the beginning of thousands of GLSDB flooding the battlefield there's no doubt in my mind they'll change the game. Russia lost the ability to overwhelm with artillery with the debut of GMLRS at 70km. How will their logistics fare against 150km range?
Ukraine doesn't even need that many new (insert abbreviation here)'s, shoot one at a far away target and watch Russia move stuff further away.
Ukraine reckons that shell deliveries are down 30% since the latest Israel hamas conflict kicked off .
Pfff...
Everyone's a critic these days...
Regarding the new German arms package, I think it's important to point out just how much the German arms industry has spooled up over the last year and a half. Take IRIS-T SLM for example. Three systems have been delivered, five more have been promised by Germany according to the website of the federal government, all while apparently regular export orders to the likes of Egypt are continuing. This means that Diehl Defence, the manufacturer, must have drastically increased production capability because I clearly remember press articles from 2002 where the CEO of that company stated that they were currently able to produce two systems per year. What's more, IRIS-T SLS, the short range version of the system, uses much of the same hardware, and they are being delivered as well.
And whatever about the US, what it will do or not, Germany is much closer to Russia and Putin in terms of distance, and have shall we say a vested interest in seeing Putin being defeated.
the days of getting a Lada or a even a sack of onions from the ruling mafia regime for your boys life are over
Tho I suspect the same mothers and wives won’t blink over schools and streets and maybe even Putingrad being named after the person responsible
Well this what I've been saying re. America and the worry over Trump: are the GOP really gonna shut down the one sector of their economy that has seen demand and production increase the last 2 years? I had heard they're possibly just emptying mothballed stock but presumably there's also ammunition and munitions factories seeing an uptick in production.
Watch what the speaker of the house does
The DOD repaired and has the black powder plant in his constituency running since this summer years ahead of schedule and a massive expansion to said factory is now sitting on his desk as part of the 105bn bill for Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan and The Wall
While Russia is still throwing men and equipment at slag heaps in Avdiivka now having lost multiples of men and visually confirmed equipment than the whole of Ukrainian summer offensive
Ukraine has regained a square kilometre occupied since 2014 by Russians which wait for it… contains slag heaps
The thing is though that the casualties are being accurately counted and reported to the Duma and someone is claiming for the losses but the families aren't getting the compensation. This was discovered a few months ago in documents that weren't redacted or secret from the Duma.
edit... someone effed up big time
This was always about regime change for Russia to get a nice vassel state on its western flank.
Zelensky was elected on a platform of unity between Ukrainian and Russian speakers and elimination of corruption. Putin could not allow that stand as it would remove his bogeyman and give Russians an example of someone dealing with the kleptocrats
yes. Just like Chernobyl, initially ruSSia tried to hide it but them pesky amuricans saw the red river from space and raised alarm. Then the next story was - ah yes, accident, but rest assured - no harm to people.
Update
Let’s see what the posters who made it out like it’s a “game changer” when similar happened on ukranian side few weeks ago say now.
Not great, but not terrible?
