Why are people here even reading what he has to say when it comes to Mayo.
I thought we were beyond that at this stage.
Didn't read past the opening of the article as it is paywalled, but was there anything in it that hadn't already been said?
He's an attention seeker but that game amd the Senior Championship needed plenty of attention. The more the better imo, it might lead to a quicker change of the rules.
This. Not sure why anyone reads anything that clown has to say about Mayo. He’s got his agenda about the fact that he married someone who was entirely incompetent at the logistics role but couldn’t handle the criticism of her ineptitude. He needs to accept she should never have been appointed to the role in the first instance, and no amount of slagging off the players that were involved in the team at the time will improve her inability to organise relatively simple tasks to the standard required.
This should automatically pop up any time Brolly starts his vitriolic Mayo talk.
Everybody in Mayo knows the craic,a lot outside the county don't. I'm surprised it doesn't get mentioned more often. He blocks anyone on twitter who says it to him.
It's pathetic.
Well Ballina somehow made it past the mighty Fulham this evening. Semi v Corofin apparently on Saturday at 2 in Pearse Stadium.
good job it wasn't breaffy .... 😉 i keep thinking of jimmy sloyan in a Claremorris pub over the last few weeks and how he must be thinking 🤐
Can I please ask the good people of the favourite county of the @Statsansolos account how many posts you need on this place to be able to post links?
Walked into a "at least Fulham managed five points" over the weekend.
Think it's one more than Breaffy manged against Ballina, but not sure. Happy to post a link for you if needed.
If that's the number then hopefully I've made it with this thank you!
That got it done - thank you Sir
How do we see things going tomorrow? Bookies seem fairly solidly behind Corofin...
Game is on RTE at the moment in a windy Pearse Stadium.
What a brilliant location for a game.
Stepenites apparently chose to play against the breeze in the first half, presumably hoping to pull their usual come from behind act...
They are not eating into the Coorfin lead with the wind at their backs.
10 minutes into 2nd half and still 6 down
Just 3 points in it now. C'mon Ballina!
And back to 6 again😐️
Corofin vs Brigid’s final. Can the Ros do what Mayo couldn’t?? And I don’t mean win an all star!!
Brigids have to beat Mohill first. I think the last two Corofin v Brigids Connacht final played in Roscommon was won by Brigids.
Unfortunately Mayo aren't exactly a powerhouse in Connaught senior club football.only 4 victories in the last 20 years, castlebar in 2015 being the most recent . Galway hold 10 and Roscommon 5 over that period(no competition in 2020).
yes
Was playing into the wind in the first half the wrong call for Ballina? Or if they had played with would they have gone in about level and finished the game with a similar losing margin to what they did?
I don’t think they were ever really in with much chance. A first time winner in Mayo in donkeys years, at a time when Mayo football has dropped a lot from its glory years 2005-2020, up against a club that used to be almost greater than its county. Corofin don’t seem to be as strong as they were few years ago but they should still beat Brigid’s going by their showing today vs Mohill.
No, BA played naively, or poorly, not sure which. deserved losers "on the day".
Rules for a West of Ireland GAA team...
A Mayo club team?
Galway
Hurling
Every player should tell them to shove it up their hole. There's no team without players.
I think that's why they leaked it...
