Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
The Horne Section are playing Vicar Street in October 2024.
You can pick your row but you can't pick your seat for the majority of gigs.
Smaller capacity in London hence slight price difference
Interestingly, the Smile in London, was some €4 extra, compared to Dublin, both were standing.
Yeah I think because of lack of demand for the bad seats all the good seats are now platinum.
You normally can outside the 1st hour of new tickets going on sale
hate the way you cant choose your seat like in other venues around the world
nothing but bad seats being offered for the smile
Any chance of a Dublin date? Fingers crossed.
The second Croke Park night was a clear case of overreaching, but the current tour is a very different prospect. There's no comparison.
She did in Croke park last time I think
Rammstein
Tickets Rammstein, Dublin | Sun, 23 Jun 2024, 17:00
Did Taylor Swift struggle to sell a third night. I'd guess no?
They do Marty.
Jane Weaver touring in May. Dublin, Belfast & Galway. Reliably great.
Also worth catching are Dead Men Walking with Jake Burns (Stiff Little Fingers), Dave Ruffy & Segs Jennings (Ruts) & Kirk Brandon (Spear Of Destiny) doing the best material of all those acts. The Fri night gig at the Róísín will be hopping, or whatever sort of movement the over-45s can muster.
Status Quo are coming back to Belfast!
Rod coming back again
What about Olivia Rodrigo playing Fairview park and the Marquee this tour ?
Or only 30% of tickets being reserved for presales ?
Or Taylor struggling to sell out a third night ?
Or Damien Rice and Sigur Ros playing Sounds from a Safe Harbour ?
etc etc
No news, yes, they confirmed 1st week of November, but they seem to have forgotten, we are in 3rd week of November now.
Hopefully, just finalising some logistics/dates.
You have been called out numerous times on being a bluffer and you well know it!
i actually don’t change my mind as I know exactly how they operate.
their practices naturally evolve and change though.
Not dogooders, but blaming them solely for dynamic pricing, platinum packages and all those nonsense packages is not factually accurate. Artists have ultimate veto on these practices as demonstrated by the cure in recent USA tour.
ticketmaster/live nation want to earn as much as they can from shows, but assigning everything to them is stupid and inaccurate.
Coronas confirmed at a gig last month they are playing it , but it's not officially announced
Sure he's the biggest spoofer on here and changes his mind about how Ticketmaster do things depending on what way the wind blows!
Fanirish has solid form of posting anything that makes TM sound like do-gooders.
Phone is the way
Good afternoon guys,
I'm hitting the national stadium over the weekend and I’ve tickets on my phone do they accept them this way or only printed ? I’ve never been for a gig in this venue.
Yeah I've sold on tix on TM at lower than face value, dynamic pricing solely raises prices
Is that not just original punters deciding to lower the price they sell instead of losing out on full cost of ticket as opposed to as a result of dynamic pricing?
yea they done it last year in fairview for the kooks/blossoms.
we had bought normal standing and they upgraded us to gold circle and then sold gen standing for €30 less
