Red Weather Warning - Dublin Bus Impact

Does DB run during a red weather warning? And if not, how does that impact on start time of services after the pause in operations? Do they start when the warning ends, or is there a lag to allow drivers/staff get safely to work?

Not in any way complaining and I think staff safety should be put above all else. Just looking for info to help make arrangements for tomorrow. Thanks.

From the dept of education, no school buses are running morning services in red zones.

Orange and afternoon services are not affected.

So with Dublin under a red I'd expect the same

TFI has just tweeted that DB and GAI not expected to operate before 9am. BE not before 10am.

I'm fine with that but think the delay in releasing info is not really acceptable.

There needs to be something prepared and ready to go as soon as a red warning is issued.

Still no update on Limerick city services, given the criteria on the Bus Eireann tweet, I'll err on the side of caution and assume that there will be no city services before 10am.

There really needs to a SOP for service levels during weather events to allow a greater degree of certainty for commuters and business.

DB have started to tweet early this morning, but so far no acknowledgement of the red warning being extended to 9am and any impact that may have on their expected start time.

True to form, DB has failed to list services as cancelled so TFI app not accurate. Yes, there's info online, but this is an ongoing issue for them and just not acceptable, and there will be people who go by the app.

GAI services are listed as cancelled.

As of 9.20 TFI are tweeting in response to queries with outdated information stating DB not running until 9am.

The W61 (GAI) is operating since 10 in Celbridge but C4 was cancelled. DB website and twitter still saying from 10am.

Services have resumed. It's fairly staggered, for example some 155 & 46as resumed from Donnybrook in both directions and not from terminus.

It'll take a while for full level to resume

I believe it showed scheduled times, not the real time departures. However, around 9.40am I already saw 26, 38A and one of the C spine buses on the road. Dublin Express and AirCoach seemed to be operating without an interruption.

As @trellheim pointed out, the app eventually showed "scheduled" for DB services, but initially it was acting as if the realtime was still working!
