Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
AC/DC?
maybe
Pearl Jam, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Garth Brooks other possibilties
Hozier not bad value at €49 for Marlay (€59 gold circle) compared to some of the prices we're seeing
Pearl Jam is on the 22 June (supposedly) and Metallica said they aren’t adding any more dates to their tour. No idea what the Stones plans are or Garth Brooks but AC/DC lines up with what another user on here said about them applying for permission for Croke Park
None of those are possible. Will be AC/D.C. I reckon
i get 3/4 but why isn’t Pearl Jam possible?..
Timing is wrong if the rumoured PJ date is reliable.
And they probably aren’t big enough
Cause they wouldn’t sell 80,000 tickets in ireland.
Say the Croke Park gig is P!NK..
...bit of a strange lineup for a gig, but shur if it gets the punters through!
Lol@ people thinking this will be the year PJ make their return. I was at the last gig in 3arena and the sound sucked beyond belief. I'd hazard a guess they have no interest in ever playing that arena again.
Rumoured for Malahide I think
But but, the sound is always amazing there!
That was the weakest Pearl Jam gig I've seen. But the following night in the Odyssey was the best.
One last show from Paul Mc Cartney would be nice
That would be great
Maybe that's the 6th Croke Park show
My guess is Girls Aloud.
It'd be very ambitious, but the thinking could be that absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Maybe it's the 2 Johnnies & My Therapist Ghosted Me co headline thing
Bicep headlining forbidden fruit
The smile announcing tour dates tomorrow
The updated rumour is Marlay.
Any suggestion that Ireland will be included, do you know? Fingers crossed
I hope so, saw them in both Magazine & Roundhouse, for London gigs, could maybe fill Olympia alright
Only down the road from me so even better haha.
is June 22nd still the date rumoured?
Fake primavera poster doing the rounds at the moment
Not that they'd need it but be nice to get a solid support lineup if ACDC do play here
Maybe someone like Greta Van Fleet and Airborne
Yea, It seems the date is nailed on now. I'm just trying to figure out where is the best place to stay for a gig in Marlay
My friends stayed in Clayton leopardstown for red hot chili peppers last year. We went to eden pub across from marlay for a few drinks after the gig and they got a taxi handy enough after that
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s queens of the Stone Age as they are about europe in august
