Thought the shadows were camo paint for a minute 😮
Nissan 300ZX
What is it?
Killester, Dublin. Sorry pic is not better, I figured owner was in having coffee so tried to be casual about it :)
I saw a south Tipperary registered in a VW add, it seems to have been removed in the last few days.
656 YHI
Jag in Cavan Town, about 2 weeks ago.
Two lads driving a Germsn registered van.
Headed off up the N3, possibly for the boat.
Thread here on that very 1913 Jowett if you're interested.
I would do unspeakable things to own that XJC...
Thanks 😊 Yep, got around the halls, I was there about 4/5 hours I’d say. I didn’t bother with one hall, it is exclusively Fords, nothing against Fords, just not my interest.
Friendly crowd too. Chatted to exhibitors and other attendees at different stands. Well worth the trip.
Wasn’t sure if it was bat-lilac or bad-lilac from the font on the boot
@hoodie6029 Great pics, were you able to see it all in one day? Bad-illac, don't you mean Bat-illac :)
Kofi Annan’s UN Mercedes 600
Jaguar xjc with a supercharged 6 cyclinder from a XJR installed.(brutal photo, I know)

1930 Austin 12/4. Both Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan owned this car in the past.

A few from the NEC motor show
Bad-illac- the details on this were great up close.
Citroen Traction avant coupe. One of 8 left in the world.
Tatra, 1923 Ford Coupe.
1913 Jowet.
Saw it in Waterville a couple of years ago.
It had a Riley radiator and said Riley 1936 on a rear plate. I presume it’s some sort of Riley based special, or possibly aftermarket bodywork made by a firm called Phoenix built back in the thirties.
Badge says Phoenix?
I saw this Riley in Muckross park this morning ... what model is it ? I wouldn't know my prewar cars very well
Canaries
Galway the other day.
Coolock, Dublin, an '82. Have seen it on the road a few times over the years, so gets well used.
I had one (just a 1.3) as my second ever car, wrote it off in less than 6 months :(
Spotted this in France a few weeks ago.
recent north Wicklow/ south Dublin sightings.
The W123 was in fantastic condition and gorgeous, not too common colour (imo)
Seen a couple of ZV’s on Richard Hammond’s workshop show too, Bentleys, Escort. You can export to the UK and the DVLA will let them keep the ZV on it as it is the same as their pre-1961 system (and the current system in the North)
Nice one.
Comes up on Car Check as 1981.
If I may post something I seen online since not worth starting a thread for it. Was watching the latest Iain Tyrrell's Classic Workshop video and spotted a ZV reg Countach @6:56:

It has a sticker from the Polish "Zlombol" rally (loosely translated "Rust bucket rally"). They had their finish line in Ireland in 2019. One of the rules, at least in the early days, was that the car had to be bought within a specific - and small - budget.
Some videos from 2019:

Since my planned trip to Kilkenny was canceled, I went to the supercar show in Dundrum instead. I was there last year and you were able to get up close to most of the cars, but this year they were all behind the velvet rope, understandable considering the value of them, but a pity nonetheless.
1978 Saab
Kilkenny show canceled due to heavy rain last night. Was just on my way out to it when 1 heard :(
Pity that FB group is private, I'm not joining FB just for that :)
Anyway, this is on this weekend in Kilkenny, will go if dry:

I use Irish Vintage Scene Magazine mostly. You can search for ‘shows’ in the vintage section of DoneDeal too.
