I think you may be limited to one box per transaction so you would have to spread them out alright.
Majority of drink and foodstuffs, washing liquid, clothes etc, I still find cheaper in the North.
The problem with buying painkillers in bulk is that a lot of places might limit the amount you can buy.
So if you try to buy a dozen boxes of paracetamol, you may have to go to 3 or 4 ships. Then again, you might get lucky.

No its not.
Home heating oil, unleaded and diesel are all cheaper in the North.
Not much difference if the prices if what I'm hearing are right.
1.56 sterling per litre an average in Northern Ireland which is around 1.80 euros.
Maybe it's wrong but there is not going to be a massive difference either way.
this is all great to know - thank you all
Always have my heating oil drums with me when heading in.
Fuel is more expensive
Jack & Jones were the only shop to do it when I was there in August. Also had to be euros in cash :)
Oh yeah toiletries, go to the non name pharmacy type places and the xxxl lynx shower gel is 2.99 or less in the few cases I found :)
As has been said, medication - painkillers and suchlike. Also some toiletries such as deodorant are remarkably cheaper there.
Few shops in Newry do €1 to £1 the last time I was there.
Jack & Jones was one, so that's a little over 10% discount straight away.
What's cheaper up North these days?
What isn't?
Oh that's a good shout - vitamins and paracetemol and the like. Thanks.
Stock up on pills. lots and lots of pills.
Painkillers etc and generic brand and stock up on what you can :)
