The former (recently deceased) owner's brother was head of the Mid Ulster Brigade, UVF.
Lovely location, but the house does nothing for me. I also hate the rounded arches.
I'm wondering why they are 'scumbags' too.
Along those lines (pun intended), my first thought was that I could imagine Pablo Escobar standing in that entrance hall.
Getting a very Spanish vibe off the interior, I think it's the tiles and the dark wood. Lovely house all the same and a beautiful location.
I would definitely live in a house like that! I love it.
"Villa Lilla, Tahilla"
Someone is fond of alliteration!
Unusual
Love the way they conveniently omit this side of the house in the listing. It was also much worse than this before they patched it up with silicone and it started opening again
So they don't run away with the spoon?
Should we know who the owner is?
Why do these two plates need to be corralled in their own wall prison?
Ah, yes.
Definitely notions. But wait, no swimming pool? Two hot tubs just don't compensate for that.
Plus, laughed at the junk stashed under the stairs in photo 11.
(What tf is with the same photo of the couple displayed in several of the rooms?!?)
It's very bright and did you see the outside front drive? I came across it when trying to prove to someone you could bye a 3-bed family house in Dublin at a reasonable price in a suburb with excellent transport and it is near the cost as well.
Absolutely all the furniture is too big for the size of the rooms.
Kitchen tiles and sitting room wallpaper definitely not my taste.
Other than that it's a fairly typical Dublin suburb house, not really sure why it's here.
Tasteless shite. Mind you if I lived Craigavon I'd put as much crap as possible to avert the view of the dump
Pics 7, 8 and 33.
What about this
Posed photo? I zipped through them fairly fast - how many pics do you need of a three piece suite? - but didn't see any people?
Hideously tacky.
I'm raging I can't zoom in enough on the posed photos of the couple.
I think it was painted up for Tidy Towns. Riverstown came first place in Co Sligo 2023
Over 100 photos....felt like I was on tinder all the swiping 😂🤣🤣
Scumbags is what they are.
Notions or something else?
The garden and outside the house is atrocious.
I just watched a video of someone falling off a roof. And I can see the same happening there if you used the roof as a balcony.
Ahh shure.....looks like a functional balcony to me....
A balcony 🤣
Oh FFS lads will you take the debate to PM's .
Sorry for the backseat modding, but Jesus do we need to bring this thread to a mods attention!
Lisburn and Newry got their city status in a raffle ffs, one's a suburb of Belfast, the other a nondescript country town by any measure.
I'm not making that up either
Bangor getting upgraded I had missed (happened last year), was even more ludicrous.
Bangor was one of eight UK towns elevated to a city in May after a competition in which it was required to show its royal associations and cultural heritage.
Its application pointed out that in 1961 the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh visited Bangor Castle and had lunch at the Royal Ulster Yacht Club, before the duke raced in a regatta.
City status is often associated with having a cathedral, a university, or a large population.
However, there are no set rules for being granted the status, which is awarded by the monarch on advice of ministers.
😆
