We have holloween party events over the weekend. I must actually check if school finishes on Friday early, but I think Friday might be the best option as next week is midterm....I can hardly deal with my own kids nevermind other people's 😂😂🤣
I say be a crowd there on opening day but nothing major. I will hold off myself until wkend.
Has anyone heard what time it's opening at on Thursday? I've just checked blanch website and "details coming soon"
I'm thinking Friday might be a better day, see how Thursday pans out
I agree. I don't think it'll be even nearly the same fanfare as the first shop opening.
Not sure to be fair. Kids will be in school etc. Maybe less hype around the lego store opening compared to 1st 1 in Ireland. I will head in over the wkend myself.
Excellent, thank you.
If you spend 120 you will get the 2 of them. Only thing the Disney set you have to buy Disney lego sets but includes star wars and marvel sets you can get (so if you done 100 on Disney sets, marvel, star wars or Indiana Jones) then could spend 20 more on different theme sets you would get the 2 free GWP sets above. It's only because lego store in Blanchardstown is opening they have the 2nd set and so if your spending 100 for the Disney GWP it's only another 20 spend there for the 2nd GWP. So 120 would get you the 2 of them.
Oh wow...that might be my Thursday sorted 😄
No if there's multiple GWP thresholds, they can all be passed in one order. So a €120 spend would grab you both GWPs (if in stock)
Do we think we're going to see the kinds of queues in Blanch that we saw on Grafton St. when the first store opened? I'm hoping to drop in Friday afternoon...
Also, with this being the Bargain Alerts thread and all - Lego Gabby's Dollhouse for €56.99 in Smyth's seems like a good price
I've never bought Lego in the Lego store so I've never availed of the gwp.
I presume you mean spend 100 for the boat and a 120 for the store set?
Spending 120 and getting both gwp seems too good so I'm obviously reading it wrong?
This is the next GWP in lego store and online. More if your thinking of spending the amount now but you might be in lego store Blanchardstown when it opens hold off until then as if you spend the 100 you get the Disney GWP but if you spend 120 you get the extra GWP, the 2nd GWP is only in Blanchardstown as new shop opening this Thursday. So might be worth waiting.
In art and hobby store
Was in the lego store in Dublin yesterday. They must of had about 100 of the pirate GWP still. You have to spend 100 or more for them plus sign up for spend 50 or more and being a VIP you got the pirate parts pack, only problem is the Blanchardstown store probably won't have them as technically they weren't open when that offer was on so I highly doubt it, would of been good to get that as well as the store gift when you spend 120. I think the houses of the world GWP offer of spend 250 is on when it opens but that's a high threshold for that GWP.
I assumed they'll have loads of the shop GWP if it's intended to run for a few days. Are there any other GWP running at the moment that might stack with it?
I can't imagine it would be. But you never know.
There the offers instore for when it opens.
Not a bargain but .....Lego blanch is opening Thursday 26th October. Wonder if the queues will be as mental as Grafton Street one... probably not.
It's only off 13 sets in Easons but might be a set someone is looking for.
They are not exactly breaking their hearts but might appeal to someone.
There's no need to stop posting them, so please don't.
This isn't an "Online Lego Bargains" thread, and if there are promos or offers that are available in-store, it would be great to hear about them.
Sorry mate, I'll stop now I promise. :)
I have to anyway, drastically overspent this week on Lego - our friends in the toy superstore kindly sold me Carl's House, the family house with electric car and Yoda's Starfighter - all three came to only 90 bucks, but it was 90 bucks I wasn't intending on spending!! 😁
Got 3 of the fighter tanks on Wednesday, 2 for presents and 1 for myself. Would be tempted to buy 1 more of them.
Will people please stop posting bargains from the shop in Dublin. I see a notification, get my hopes up on a bargain and see I can't get it , not being in Dublin 😁
Still got loads of the fighter tanks at 31.50, new item this weekend is Boba Fett's throne room at 70 euro, which I went for cos I couldn't stomach it at any more than that. Sorry if this is too late in the day for anyone else.
There is still 8 clone fighter tanks in the shop. Was just in there. Make sure to scan your lego VIP card as they have the pirate parts polybag there that I got which I wasn't expecting but they must have a few in store. The clone tanks are downstairs when you walk in. Some city sets on sale, Viking Ship is 84 as well. 1 ninjago set upstairs on sale.
Brilliant thanks. I'm actually working in town tomorrow I will check before I head into the office in the afternoon. I will post what's there.
There was about a half a dozen or so fighter tanks when I was there today. Didn't check the black panther ones. Reductions on the ObiWan fighter and dark trooper corridor sets too, down to 24 something, and seemed to be quite a few of them too
One of the times I wished I still lived in Dublin 🤣
