Remember this when sources claimed 1000 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a hospital, but they were all false claims.
It's not uncommon to find an article from ten years ago being inaccurate
Oh god one of those
China only has $862.3 billion in US bonds as of this summer out of 23.9 trillion
Ever wonder why they keep buying US bonds and not Russian roubles?
How good of them to provide post strike intel. SecOps still an alien concept to the russians.
jpost liers?. No, they would never lie. 😊
I'm glad we've established you don't trust Israeli sources.
As I said less than accurate information
The excavator or tank on steel tracks nearly did more damage to the tarmac than the impact craters.
You said none were sold after 2014, an Israeli news source states that sales continued into 2015.
Even worse the Times of Israel reported after the Crimea annexation:
A Defense Ministry-approved deal to sell drones to Ukraine was vetoed by a Foreign Ministry special panel amid fears Russia would disapprove, Israel’s Channel 2 reported Monday.
They don't have them nor have any been seen bar one found in Ukraine which was one of two ,
Or China could just sell off all the US bonds it holds and crashes the dollar.
Not according to the Jerusalem Post, or are you going to call them liars?

The trick with Taiwan, especially in relation to the Ukraine War, is that China were likely banking that Russia’s initial instincts at the start of the conflict were correct. They must have hoped that Putin could roll into Kyiv in 3 days and that beyond some angry hand-wringing The West would do nothing to penalise Moscow for annexing Ukraine.
Had it happened that way, I suspect Beijing would have tried for Taiwan. They could invade Taiwan, get some angry statements in the UN, and the go back to business as usual.
But now Beijing has the benefit of seeing what can happen to an old Cold War power when they push their luck too far. There’s now a model to train and equip motivated local forces to defend themselves against larger legacy-Soviet armies and that Western nations have shown that they will punish an aggressive nation for engaging in this kind of war. The logistics of even getting an army over to Taiwan are difficult enough without having to face NATO-grade weapons & tactics in the attempt.
Finally, for even attempting it, China could find herself critically isolated for the trade she needs to stay afloat. Starting a war would likely accelerate the process of manufacturing moving away from China and onto other developing nations such as Vietnam. They are likely going to keep Taiwan on the long finger, and hope for some point in the distant future when they can try again when they can get away with it.
It was a deal done before 2014 for two drones similar to the Turkish Bayraktar one , after the invasion and occupation of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine the deal died
How did the US allow that. or has boards been infiltrated by AI?
Few of the usual twitter crowd sharing this vid of the airbase.
notice all the potholes and marks spread across a wide area.
All Deals were knocked on the head in 2014
That's Wikipedia for you full of inaccuracies
Lets not drag this thread the direction of the Israel hamas thread
Its very bad over there now, just one side saying this the other saying that, one poster saying Ad Hominem after every second post because they just learned what it means
Keep this thread civilized, its been very good and informative so far
Actually Israel sold more drones to Russia after the crimea annexation, and even withdrew from a deal to supply Ukraine on request from Putin.
I can understand the Israeli support for Russia as they too believe in annexing what isn't theirs.
Afghanistan would be like US giving up on Germany in 1950s and going home leaving it open to take over by GDR
The whole thing about US not being able to fight a war is very funny.
They withdrew which was always the plan but came back and are still currently there in Iraq .
Get the basics right at least
Israel is supplying Russia with drones and software,
Not since 2014 at least
They did effectively occupy Western Europe from 1945. In Europe, American military and diplomatic action can be considered a resounding success. Helping massively to end the Nazi regime and then putting the British empire back in its box. And eventually precipitating the collapse of the Iron curtain. Three occurrences that hugely benefitted humanity. Whatever about their results in the rest of the world can’t fault them when it comes to Europe. And in fairness South Korea and Japan became thriving countries under effective American occupation as well.
Never trust the Israelis.
All while Israel was supplying Russia with drones and warplane software.
Yeh more here
Good few threads with satellite imagery of aftermath
You can count the military wins but we usually end up counting the refugees long after the US has forgotten about it.
I used to think those Vietnam movies were just Hollywood drama but the same will be said about many who watch movies based on this war.

Concerning arms supplies to terrorists, as early as 2016, some Israeli media outlets reported that Hezbollah was receiving heavy weapons from Russia without any restrictions (Times of Israel; Haaretz, January 11, 2016). Other Israeli experts specifically mentioned that Hezbollah and Hamas have been direct beneficiaries of Russian arms deliveries (Krym Realii, January 21, 2016).
Moscow’s close ties with Hamas combined with propagandists’ schadenfreude may ultimately push Israel away from Russia and closer to the West. Israel heavily relies on aid from the West, presuming expanded cooperation with its Western partners

Depends how you define winning.
I don't think the goal of any military is to establish a functioning society once the fighting is over.
US lost in Vietnam, came to a stalemate in Korea, and won in Iraq and Afghanistan.
