What stages are the various championships in Kerry?
Senior club is finished. Dingle as champions.
Other club grades are at the finals stage which will be played when the districts are finished in the county championship.
County championship is at ¼ final stage and fixed for next weekend.
Not finishing all the club competitions before starting the county championship is a particular bugbear of mine but you couldn't expect the gaa to make any sense

we got a kerry man ourselves this year , i almost regard him as higher , i know the schools and underage is huge in kerry , but i think ye might have missed a trick with Fitzgerald , not as intercounty but as a top club coach or divisional , he would walk into a job in meath , kildare ect ...
Was there really much incentive for Dingle to win tonight or is the county championship a really big deal when you have won the club and are almost guaranteed to represent Kerry in Munster/AI club?
Yeah, County Championship is seen as an awful lot more important than Club Championship.
Dingle lads will be sick tonight. Didn't show up at all in the 2nd Half. I doubt they have thought ahead to the Club All Ireland Championship at all.
Is it 11 weeks on the spin that Dingle have been out now? And not a huge squad to work with so lack of rotation. The Mikey Geaney red card wouldn't have helped. They looked gassed early which is a pity but I don't think it was anything to do with lack of incentive imo.

Are all or some of the divisions in Kerry, actual divisions or just amalgamations?
E.g. in Tipp we have 4 divisions but no divisional teams and winning a divisional title is still very prestigious.

What’s that based on? He has very little experience in management and has done nothing of note.
Cillian Burke and Keith Evans both excellent for Mid Kerry tonight. Burke is ready made to go straight in at wing forward for Kerry next year. Evans is a huge talent but very light, hopefully he can add size and in a year or two he’ll be a huge asset to Kerry. Sean O’Brien was decent too at midfield worth a look in the McGrath Cup anyway.
Sure why would I care about Tipp’s next manager? He’s found his level I would think.

Definitely incentive to win the county championship. A club championship is a fine achievement but the county is still the holy grail.
I always taught it was known at club level that he was an up and coming coach, was involved with the minor team as coach but not manager, was he not in the running to take over from James Costello
He was involved with that minor management but they had no success. Strange appointment by Clare if I’m honest, especially if Tipperary get Peter Keane.

we will be missing a chunk of our panel next year between retirements and lads taking time out form the game to lads abroad with work commitments, initially there was more high profile interest but we could be without 6 or 7 starters next year ,
even the clare u20 manager turned down a chance at taking the step up to senior , if peter keane was asked i imagine he would have turned it down

East, West, Mid, and South Kerry, along with St Brendan's are all fully-fledged divisional boards, that all organise their own district championships once all the various county competitions are over. Shannon Rangers and Feale Rangers are only club amalgamations under the jurisdiction of the North Kerry board, but it's increasingly likely that they will merge into a single North Kerry division, due to success at minor level under that format. St Kieran's is particularly unique, as some of the clubs belong to the North Kerry board, and others to the East Kerry board.
Small enough crowd in Killarney yesterday I thought. East Kerry always had more in the tank although Rathmore were close enough until the goal.
Rathmore are one of the best run clubs in Kerry if not Ireland.
Small population but constant stream of minors and U20s/21s.
They are the only club in Kerry to have a senior championship starter continuously since 1996.
Much better production line that big townie clubs like Laune Rangers and Listowel.
