Curtain rail reminds me of a hospital heart monitor.
I'm envious of their spacious and neatly organised airing cupboard.
Otherwise, too much pine! Some rooms are lovely, others - not so much.
14.4 km from Carrick and the road to Carrick on Shannon isn't that bad at all.
The hot press. You never usually get to see the hot press. 😋
Looks like the bridge in the garden crosses a stream. Why is it covered in wood? (Last pic)
Young children probably, the open thread stairs have had bars added as well.
I thought the same.
Reminds of an 80's or 90's game called Buzz Off
No way could I live there. The curved walls would make be feel drunk every time I looked at them and that floating stove thingy is freaky.
The stove looks like aliens landing, this is obviously where they perform their human experiments.
It would be impossible to arrange furniture in that house too, I'm guessing that's why it's empty for the photos.
The house is nothing special, but that location & surrounds are amazing.
I'd love to have a stream beside my place.....unless I lived in Middleton....
I really like the garden the how the house looks from outside although I don't like the layout of the inside of the house. I'd prefer the inside with less clutter and little bit more modern but it's still quite charming.
I love that. It needs to be decluttered, some of the decor changed and that awful stone surround fireplace changed, but it's a lovely house and the garden is perfect too.
Had to laugh at the EA speak - "The property has wonderful original features such as the fine stonework and solid wooden beams and fireplaces." It was built in the 1990's, not the 1790's!
It is a very pretty house but I think all the skewed walls would drive me nuts.
Now THAT'S a sun room!
Wow. Two sun rooms and a gazebo. This is Ireland! Half the year it would be too cold and half of the remaining time it would be too hot. I reckon it was a 'windows and sun rooms' company owner lived there.
Whatever about the sun rooms the rest of the place is decorated in a style I absolutely hate. Over-polished b&b style. With twiddly bits in the syntho-wood.
That massive sun room must have been a swimming pool at some point or planned to be.
Pity about the massive concrete yard taking up so much of the property. Unless you’re a lorry driver, it’s pretty useless. Suppose you could drop a few containers on it and rent them out as storage either.
And a bidet!!!!
The layout of the house is terrible. Too many problems.
Just one is: Walk through bedroom 3 to get to bedroom 1.
stop calling it a 5 bedroom house and repurpose bedroom 3 as a dressing room/walk-in closet for bedroom 1. It won’t do much but it would look better than the current layout
Wow - I like the sun room but its out of place attached to that average house. It stretches the length of the house and I would imagine makes the internal rooms an oven in the summer and blocks light going into them rooms. It reminds me of a hotel lobby😂😂
It would be great for a party though other than that its a complete waste.
They have a model of Airwolf, that'd need to come with the house for me (though I much prefer the house on Doctor's Road).
I'd prefer the inside with less dead animals strewn all over the walls and ceilings.
I'm thinking more commercial greenhouse than sunroom tbh.
Seems like a lot of house for the money considering all the outbuildings and commutable to Cork City no internal photos though which is weird and being sold privately by the owner which is a bit unusual
There’s a reason they’re trying to sell it themselves. For that price there’s something they’re not telling you I reckon. And not including internal photos is bizarre also. If it seems to good to be true it usually is!
Breakdown of a relationship before it was fully finished internally?
€500 a month for a shed, and not even a very fancy shed.

All very short sighted, he is going to be damned with phone calls, I hope its a burner phone he's using. Why not just show what it is he is selling and not have to answer all the same questions that everyone is going to ask.
Where do you do your cooking and stuff also European sockets. He must have bought them the way they are direct from some European country and laid concrete down and took a picture the day they were dropped onto the concrete he laid.
It’s against the law to sell appliances with a 2 pin European plug so fairly sure there must be regulations on installation of 2 pin sockets 🙈
They have an earth on those sockets. So they are three pin.
