Interesting read.
😂😂
Ive listened to former Soviet pilots who are only happy to retell stories of cockpit instruments falling on the pilots during climbs and landings , while they are a tough airframe quality control is not there strong point
WTF??? Maybe I am coming to this debate late but when did Saudis become Shia? Is the Pope a Protestant now too?
North Korea supplying Russia is a headache for Ukraine.
A lot of their equipment is compatible with Russian equipment like grad rockets and shells.
Joe Biden says Hi 👋
Riiiiight.
Imagine a country sinking so low they have to ask North Korea for help.
It is a headache but if Russia got 20 million shells off them over the next year (, which they won't) they'd use them up with the year. So while north Korean shells will extend Russia's artillery advantage it won't last forever and the issue of not having artillery superiority will inevitably raise it's head again.
"extend Russia's artillery advantage"
Not sure if they have an advantage to extend with a graph recently posted on this thread claiming to show rates of artillery fire of both sides with the Ukrainians now firing more than putin's troops can manage:
The latest update from Ukraine's armed forces is that they eliminated 26artillery systems yesterday bringing the total losses of artillery systems by putin to 6936. Even if the north Korean shells are sent to putin will he be able to get them to the front lines without them being targeted in transit or storage and will there still be enough systems and trained artillery troops to make effective use of them?
More strikes on putin's supply lines and attack infrastructure reported here:
Russia doesn’t have an artillery advantage anymore there was a clear infographic posted higher up thread
edit: see above
I've seen many posts from Pro Ukrainians saying this isn't the reality on the ground where they've named many sector's of the frontline where Russia is clearly firing more artillery.
I hope this infographic is correct but it wouldn't be the first time we've been fed wrong information.
This is 100% what Ukranians have been concentrating on at least a month now, hit as much artillery as possible
Wasn't one of the big problems when this offensive started the Russian mines and artillery, so it seems they have addressed the artillery part of that
Also a lot of rumours and they are that at this stage of Russians running low on Artillery barrels, they wear out and the Russians fired so much early on i could believe that
There was one satellite image of a Russian stockyard of artillery pieces and all had had there barrels removed
Hah finally a way of dealing with rogue Central European states that worship Putin
And I’ve seen endless anecdotes from Russian sources continually complaining about lack of to no artillery support at all.
If it comes down to believing the Ukrainians vs believing RussiansWhoAlwaysLieAboutEverything ^TM it’s a no brainer
Or just look at the massacre of Russians only a few days ago, where was their artillery then in that epic failure of an attack?
A post from just a few minutes ago
More aircraft lost by Russia
@zv2 Hopefully they managed to take out some of the Ka-52 helicopter gunships that were doing so much damage.
You see that's the thing. Despite the calamity Russia unleashed a humongous barrage of artillery on that town when they were attacking. They clearly had more shells being fired. Now whether or not they we're less effective then the Ukrainian shells that's another question. But the good news is more shells being fired didn't stop their disaster.
Ukraine now has 49 French built mobile Ceasar artillery systems with another 6 on way and not a single loss
Fairplay to French government and companies for supplying and maintaining these for over a year now.
It gets worse
Have a feeling there could be a breakthrough in the next few weeks. Ukraine attacks on logistics and Russians desperate offensive last few days feels ukraine have something up their sleaves
What happens with all the Russians that died in bathmat etc. Do the Ukr soldiers take all their guns , ammo and gear?
Also, might finally see Orbán and Hungary getting what has been coming to them at EU level for a long time given the very good election results in Poland
This is assuming new govt. in Slovakia don't take over protection of Hungary, and the other EU members have the courage to go for the jugular this time and land his govt. with some serious sanctions for what they have been doing, if the opportunity to get it done has opened up.
Not a loss is massive, presumably for every loss of an active battery the team operating it is killed or injured, that's a loss of experienced people
Please God let there be ka 52 heli's in the 9 or 10 that were lost.
Looks like sending cluster ATACMS is having a big impact from the off. Give them what they need, Ukraine will do the rest.
yes looks like that what was used for first time
Looks effective
Could be another game changer.
Opens up a lot of opportunities, hitting farther and payload over a wide area
