I wasn't aware that we as Irish citizens were obliged to serve in the IRA, but one learns something new every day.

Seeing as we're using our imagination, I've just imagined that Hamas have laid down their weapons and surrendered.

Great news, the imaginary girl in the hospital has been saved.

    Your welcome.

They have ordered the people in Gaza to move south so that they can flatten Gaza.

They they will order the people in the centre of the strip to move south the Khan Younis, and flatten the central area.

Finally, they will order the people in Khan Younis to move south into Egypt, and then flatten Khan Younis.

Ethnic cleansing completed, Gaza Strip ready for colonisation by mad Zionists from the USA, population balance within Israel restored in favour of Jews by removal of 2 million Arabs.

Israel doesn't necessarily want to kill them all, but if they are "collateral damage", then that's okay. Permanent exile to Egypt will do for those that don't die.

Remember Israel was born in a blood bath - Palestinian blood. It has always been run by people with a severe lack of empathy.

Edit: this is a similar strategy to the one mentioned in the Islandmagee massacre, referred to in Martina Devlin's book, "The House Where It Happened (Poolbeg/Ward River Press, 2014)", where the people were driven forwards by soldiers to cliffs and then driven over the cliff. Nothing new about it, although the size of the Gazan population makes it unique.

Israeli child-killers get a free pass didn't you know?

they've been getting a free pass for decades. that's why we're in this mess.

You know yourself that during the Troubles and today both the British military and the IRA are not telling the truth about the conflict and both try to shape the narrative.

So what's the response to a massive terrorist attack that doesn't involve military Response, remember Israel has given consessions to the Palestinians ,they negotiated with hamas where they got a single hostage released in return Israel released over 1000 ,

Where did that get them more attacks and more killings against Israel, Hamas does not want any kind of peace not for Israel or Palestine.

There is only so much that you can do before your left with no other option than to remove hamas by any means

Ah no. That's a rather remedial blinkered view of reality.

Israel gave an impossible order so if a ground offensive comes everyone still left in the City will be seen as a combatant and executed.

Bibi gets to tell Blinken and Biden he gave them 24 hours notice.

Where do you suggest 1.1 million people go by the way?

Right now they have no food, water, fuel, medical supplies, the only thing they do have is shelter until it is turned to dust.

No, I gave you the evidence that, as I said, Roz Cohen was an Israeli soldier and you are arguing no he wasn’t.

    Ah, the old excuse.

    Nice one Mr G. Gun.

Indiscriminately killing civilians and especially children should never be an option for any military worth its salt, there has to be a better way to kill off hamas because the way its set up now they will wipe gaza and the vast majority of people in it off the map, a bigger Bakhmut.

Why are you clinging to this issue? Most posters can accept that the claim was an exaggeration.

The method of murder really doesn’t diminish the callous nature of this attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,503 ✭✭✭howiya

I haven't suggested that there shouldn't be a military response. I have no issues with Hamas (or any other terrorist group) being extinguished.

I am questioning the methods used as part of that military response which as you have openly stated is being formulated with a view to minimising IDF casualties rather than civilian casualties.

Could they not use their super dooper intelligence agency to pinpoint the militants and kill them with singularlised laser beams?

Should the British army have been allowed to bomb NI back to the stone age after IRA bombings in England?

It's quite literally that black and white.

This is the evidence that you asked for. This is the evidence posted below.

Readers of the thread can draw their own conclusions about someone who responds to such evidence in the manner you have done so in your post.

You are presented testimony such as "When they turned her over, they saw that her unborn baby had been sliced from her womb"

And the only response you can offer to such testimony is whataboutery about the IRA, or the status of a witness of a different atrocity.

For my part, I will state that it establishes your posts here as serving the purpose of defending Hamas and denial of their atrocities.

This is proven by your refusal to engage with the evidence, and your refusal to condemn Hamas for the actions noted below. In doing so, you condone this atrocity.

"A rescue team who visited the kibbutz, where the smell of rotting bodies still hangs in the air, told how they saw a pregnant lady lying on the floor of the first house they walked into. When they turned her over, they saw that her unborn baby had been sliced from her womb. 'We saw a pregnant lady lying on the floor, and then we turn her around and see that the stomach is cut open, wide open,' Yossi Landau, an aid worker at the NGO Zaka, told i24News, his voice cracking with emotion. The unborn baby, still connected with umbilical cord, was stabbed with a knife. And the mother was shot in the head. And you use your imagination, trying to figure out what came first.'"

There is a scale. Military Response ---------------------------------------------------> Ethnic Cleansing

What a disgusting comment. A poster say's the thread is depressing to him/her and makes their exit and you "enjoy it". How do you know that person isn't suffering from depression or mental health issues and it's getting to them? Not saying this person is but it say's a lot about you that you seem to get a kick from it. Grow up .

Amnesty International’s new investigation shows that Israel imposes a system of oppression and domination against Palestinians across all areas under its control: in Israel and the OPT, and against Palestinian refugees, in order to benefit Jewish Israelis. This amounts to apartheid as prohibited in international law.

Its contemplating of genocide while simultaneously pretending its not genocide.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74 ✭✭GeminiLad

That may be but there is no other way. Peace and security cannot be negotiated while you have a murderous organisation sabotaging all attempts.

I don’t intend to return to this but it absolutely does. The killing of 40 babies in an air strike is, for many people much less callous than the death by decapitation of 40 babies.

    Would you agree?

Looking at some of the claims on here from yesterday,

Israel carried dropped over 6000 bombs on Gaza , indiscriminate carpet bombings was also claimed, Israel seem to be using 2000lb JDAM munitions dropped from F16 and F15 jets ,they are also using Hellfire missles from Apache helicopters and carrying out bombardments from the sea too over 6 days

That's over 12,000,000 lbs of high explosive bombs being dropped from aircraft alone not Including Hellfires and whatever the navy is using in one of the most densely populated areas anywhere in the world

But the casualties numbers being Claimed is very similar to what we sea in lasts weeks massive terrorist attack

Again you need to be clear, are you talking about Hamas or the Israeli government?

    Or both?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74 ✭✭GeminiLad

Israel either request the citizens leave the area or fight against Hamas with citizens killed in crossfire.

I'm struggling to understand what other options are available to them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,495 ✭✭✭deirdremf

I saw that, and unfortunately this single incident could be true.

The 40 beheaded babies was never likely to be true, it was a planted story to stir up emotions - and the world is still waiting for evidence of 40 beheaded babies. All we get is complaints that evidence is requested ...

When you think of it rationally, a village of 760 people is unlikely even to have 40 babies, even if everyone in the village was a rightwing religious haredi nutcase.

This video speculates that the Hamas attack was funded by Iran. As Iran do not like a potential Saudi Arabia, USA, and Israel - network of normalisation treaties.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74 ✭✭GeminiLad

I was clear. Hamas needs to be eradicated first.

The Israeli government is not a murderous regime, contrary to many ignorant beliefs around the world.

If the entity you're fighting are hiding behind their own women and children, who is ultimately responsible?

If you believe Israel should be then there is no need to continue this.

Israel have to act against Hamas, whether it is rockets landing in Israeli territory or the rape and murder of women and children, they have to act. Any other country would too.

People here are absolutely not cheering on the deaths of innocents in bombings.

Hamas provoked this response, it is what they wanted, and they revel in it.

#Gazagenocide now top trending on X.

The world knows. Israel can't hide it's crimes.

As despicable, revolting, I just don’t have words to express my abhorrence of those actions by Hamas as reported by i24 News, it doesn’t make their previous story true. However some posters like yourself, won’t acknowledge that what was originally reported was not true.
