Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
Rammstein confirmed 23.06.2024 at the RDS
From website
I think now that we know the RDS is being used next year we can expect P!nk and Aerosmith to play there as well. Aerosmith could still be Marley Park
Nah pink will be marlay if she plays here
Just like Rammstein will be Belfast and Olivia Rodrigo Saint Anne's park?
rammstein will be Belfast if it’s same set up as before. Belfast only venue they can get away with pyro/insurance cover for.
So there will be no pyro for Dublin I guess or they might just do it without insurance perhaps 😁
I heard it's an acoustic in the round show, the cello solo in Du hast apparently would bring a tear to a glass eye......
I never realised Rammstein are that big here. Will that sell out?
I'd be doubtful. It's a big stage though so would think itll lower capacity a bit, but doubt it'd hit 30k sales
I think it will sell out, they are very popular, this is the 4th year of the tour, they did 2019, 22, 23 and now 24.
Alot of eastern Europeans living in Ireland will go and its on a Sunday so will help.
No UK dates will help it too.
Mutter is a great album.
bet you it will be a different set up and not same amount of pyro as 2022 tour.
Was told by people involved in 2019 or whenever it was announced that Belfast was only option due to pyro/staging and insurance requirements. Dublin was preferred as easier option from selling tickets perspective but wasn’t feasible for that tour.
I said if it’s Dublin it will be RDS which was right btw.
Nice
Recommend going for the Grandstand
Conversely to the whole pyro conversation, i'm fairly sure i saw an interview with the band before where they said they wouldn't play in a place that curtailed their performance. There'll deffo be pyro there. To what extent i don't know. Have they tamed it back in recent years anyway?
Think it will sell very well personally.
Massive stage and a lot of pyro, unlikmy its cut down either especially not with prices
Standing - €106.25
Feuerzone - €141.25
Seats - €141.25/€96.25
Saw Rammstein in 2022, phenomenal show. The stage has been custom made for the tour so there's no chance they won't be bringing it along, interesting to see what happens with the insurance though.
CAN'T WAITTTTTT
It's years since i was in the RDS... are the cheap seats way, way back? And the expensive ones kind of to the side but still kind of shite?
Yup. Standing only way to go.
Just saw, ticket limit - 9 per person. Nine?!
Gruff Rhys in the Sugar Club, Thursday 15th February. Also in Belfast Empire the previous night. https://singularartists.ie/show/gruff-rhys-2/
I'm hoping Das Koolies (SFA minus Gruff) get announced soon.
Would Das Koolies support Gruff? We can dream...
I think I'll be going abroad to see the Rammstein show. Was looking at hotels this morning and had spotted one for ~€171 but by the time I ran to get my credit card from another room, the hotel upped the price to over €400.
Scrounging feckers can take a run and jump if they think I'm paying that for one night in an Irish hotel.
Go on booking.com, there are hotels available sub €200.
Just sent them one for 180, not too bad (in comparson to 400 anyway)
Anyone with inside scoop know the dublin venue? The cities have been teased on his Instagram
Malahide or marlay.
malahide would be safer bet if it’s DM 30 anniversary tour
Would be Slane if the lads had some sense and reform
Proves that grunges outweighs the £££
Had been hoping for intimate venues ie olympia.......suppose outdoor gig means no scramble for tickets.

sounds like might be an arena tour
Good spot. Had hoped wouldn't be 3arena but plus side should be fine for tickets
Mandy, Indiana in the Workmans Cellar, Friday 9th February. Kinda operating in the same area as Scalping but not identical. https://singularartists.ie/show/mandy-indiana/
Rather annoyingly it's the same night as Jah Wobble's Metal Box in Dub (Whelans) and Andrew Savage of Parquet Courts gig in the Workmans main room. Aargh!
New Libertines album out in March. Wouldn’t mind a gig here
